Mate, the only Chase you're likely to see in Wakey is the BV landlord looking for his rent money.

| Quote: "Strange when the RL compliance Manager states Wakefield were not even in the bottom three. So who were the bottom three?
Obviously Fax were one might not have been the Crusties as their application might have been OK until their owners pulled the plug. So there could be two clubs worse than us and one might be you. Not saying it is but why Fax fans pick on us I'm not sure, just shows what media perceptions can do. I assume it's the insolvency bit that they dislike but that rule was changed rather ironicaly to protect Crusaders and I suspect s few other big name clubs in the future - you can be sure it wasn't brought in to protect Wakefield!
It's dreadfully flawed system IMO, end of.
'"
Funny that cos nigel wood on boots n all said all applications confidential and not announced who finished in what place and when asked if crusaders hadn't pulled out would wakey have gone he wouldn't not answer yes or no. He said all applications confidential - he also stated that Wakefield and Halifax may have mis interpreted some of the information regarding the merits of wakey getting in above fax.

Goodbye all. It was nice knowing most of you.: |

| Quote: vastman "It's not a Cas v Wakey issue for me it's just that I fail to see the difference between yourselves and us. It's just an assumption that Fax fans have made that it was us they lost out to when it could have been you or HKR or whoever.'"
Looking at this again, HKR got a grade B licence, whereas Cas, Quins, Salford, Wakey, Widnes got grade C. So surely it was one of us 5 that they lost out to.

Are they real facts or Richard Wright Cas facts, there is a massive difference.
Personally I suspect it was Cas who had the lowest score for a Grade C but it's something I can't prove and frankly I'm not that bothered about trying to either.
My only wish now is to regain our position as the top side in Wakefield in a few weeks time and move to Newmarket by 2014

You have answered your own pointless question old boy.
Why are you surprised he wouldn't answer "if crusaders hadn't pulled out would wakey have gone he wouldn't not answer yes or no". when you state in your opening sentence if you can call it that "Funny that cos nigel wood on boots n all said all applications confidential and not announced".
Not rocket science is it

If you all listened to Nigel Woods properly instead of hearing what you wanted to hear he stated that the directors had become very uneasy over the last 2 or 3 weeks about the goings on at Crusaders especially the financial side of things. They were concerned that they would not be able to fulfil promises for the next 3 years, to me this would signify that Crusaders would have been dropped if they hadn't pulled the plug themselves. Why not just be thankful that we are both still in Super League and long may the derbies continue.

So if you're not bothered, why bring it up in the first place?

Each to their own but I would say that is extremely doubtful.

I was replying to your quote old boy where you said wakey weren't in the bottom 3 my point being it is confidential therefore how can you state you weren't in the bottom 3 when it has not been disclosed now that is hardly rocket science is it

| Its such a relief to see that Vastman hasn't indulged in the Cas-Wakey love in that seems to have engulfed this forum
Lets just both be thankful that we're in SL for the next 3 years. Neither side can afford to rest on its laurels or it'll most likely be resting them in the championship in 3 years time...

I'll be thankful that Cas are still in SL but as for Wakey I'm afraid not. For me, and it's only my own opinion, they were very very lucky to survive. They should have paid the penalty for going into administration while holding a SL license. Then to top it all to suggest printing t-shirts in time for the Crusaders game proclaiming " We are Super League" is beyond belief! I don't like them, if you do, fair enough.
