| Stu, I was thinking the same exact as he said it!
We're all getting increasingly annoyed at the poor comments from our TV "experts". They're tedious, tiresome, predictable and they seriously need to sort themselves out or get off the box. There are a few new guys who sometimes try to stick to their guns but the likes of Harry, Eddie and Stevo seem to always want to go the same route.

| I thought the same, also would love him down the lane! Also to have a bit of a moan, the opening titles naffed me a bit, it only showed three teams I think, Warrington, Wigan and Leeds!! I thought it was called The Superleague Show.

I think it would be a big step if we were to capture him as coach, would certainly be a big statement from the club as to their intentions!

| At the risk of this getting a bit repetetive, I thought the same too.
Noble has had nothing but good things to say about Cas all year long, even when we lose.
Makes me think something has been agreed behind the scenes quite some time ago, hence his reluctance to jump into another coaching job this year.
Fingers crossed...

| Had to laugh (or cry) at Eddie's comment on Friday, "we never see delays in the play the ball like this in Super League". Hasn't seen Cas play Hudds, Wigan or Leeds?

You mean when they can practically hold down the Cas players whilst the rest of team sit down in deckchairs until the play-the-ball is made? And then by the same token, a penalty is given if any Cas player decides to put his hand on a player for more than 3 seconds?

One of the most bizarre calls yesterday was when roberts fell to the floor without being touched (a voluntary tackles at one time) and a cas player tripped straight over him (with only an ankle making contact) another cas player (think it was mcgoldrick) then tackles roberts and gets done for a second effort, how can tripping over someone constitute a completed tackle?!

| FMPOV Roberts appeared to slip, and the contact from the first player was deemed a complete tackle, the 2nd player then came in later which was deemed a flop. I think...

Could this be why he has been employed at Halifax (another Feisal sponsored team) until the end of this season - ready to slot straight in at Cas!!

Tony Hannan has picked up on the exact same thing in his League Express column this week.
As he notes, the tendency for SL players to be able to make ground up the field through penalties is perhaps part of the reason why we find ourselves so far behind the Aussies when the different refereeing interpretations prevent similar tactics at international level.

I beleive that what the referee called but i dont see how tripping over someone with one ankle is now completing a tackle.

That really does seem to be the way of things at the moment. Take for example any game when we have Ganson - we concede very few penalties which highlights something.
Incidentally I watched Boots 'n' All the Tries last night and in one short piece it was enough to see the Bradford v Saints game was controversially officiated at best.

| Unless you're Wigan/Saint/Leeds you never seemed to get the credit, it took us a years to get even a whiff of credit when we put in a good performance, even the fans of said clubs would struggle to give credit though, it's tiresome.
Even right now the Wigan fans have a thread on Mathers rubbishing him even though he's done brilliant for you guys this season, they never see past their own bias.
