| Orr.
I really don't get why people will think Dixon will be in the lineup unless there are injuries Owen is apparently "ready" and Youngquest will be on the other wing, and given the choice I'd take Owen every single time over Dixon.

| Owen won't be fully fit till march at least. Not sure if Matterson will risk him early doors. I wouldn't as Dixon ain't that bad a player always in the tries.
Still think Fozzard will kick for your fantasy team though.

| Owen won't be in the side as they're taking it slowly and he'll get a few reserve team games under his belt first so Dixon is likely cover for that period. Dixon's been first-choice kicker in the friendlies.

| Quote: Grimmy "Hi all, just a quick one to help with my fantasy team! Who is likely to kick for you this year, Dixon or Orr?'"
No-one can actually say who the kicker will be but in my opinion it will be shared out as we have Dixon-Huby-Orr-Arundel who are all competent kickers. It really depends on who is on the field at that time, i wouldn't advocate picking a goal kicker from Cas.

I really don't get why people will think Dixon will be in the lineup unless there are injuries
People thought that Mike Wainwright would barely get a game a couple of seasons ago but over the past 2 seasons he played the majority of games, I reckon Dixon will do likewise. He's a better player than Wainwright was with the added bonus of being a solid goalkicker and is underrated by some fans. I reckon he'll get a spot in the three-quarters line ahead of Arundel or Thompson so even if he isn't on the wing he'll probably end up playing in the centres.
Its funny, people always assume that no-one in the squad'll get injured but in reality you're doing well if you've only got 4 or 5 players missing through injury at any one time.

| Dixon's ability in the air counts in his favour as well but he'd be on the wing for me, only 4th or 5th choice centre.

| Are people watching the same Dicko as me?
Other than Rangi he wouldn't have been far off our player of the year last season, there is no way he would not be one of the first 4 names on my team sheet. I am not sure what weakness people think they see, but as far as I am concerned he is a definite starter.
Quick, OK not Usain Bolt but comparable to others in his position, finishes, good in the air, solid defensively and kicks goals? I think some people must watch different games to me.... The only way I would agree with placing him 4/5th is if he was over 30 or quota and hogging a spot and he isn't near 30 and not on a spot.

I agree he'd start on one wing with Youngquest starting the season on the other.

I dont get why some people dont rate him either, i think dicko does a very good job for us, youngquest is quicker but is worse defensivley and makes more mistakes imo.

Didn't kick yesterday. Dixon and Huby preferred.

Have put both of them in, who kicked when they were both on the pitch?
