| Glad to see Terry get this award as it is clearly fully deserved judging by your 4 wins in a row
I just hope it shuts up all the morons on here that wanted him out when things weren't going too well
Although i wouldn't expect this post to receive much adulation towards TM as most of you have constantly slagged him off!
Funny how once the Cas p1ss head was shown the door by TM and the results start to improve?

| Sack him, has clearly lost the respect of the players, they even laugh at him when he tries to discipline them apparently. The sheer audacity of the bloke coaching a team ravaged by injuries to 4 consecutive wins, who does he think he is? God?
For the love of sweet baby Jeebus, go now Terry, you have clearly took the team as far as it will go and fresh blood is needed.
The silence is fecking deafening but I expect the usual vultures to come swooping as soon as we lose a game.

| The accolade is well deserved after our recent run of form.
As for the people who were saying TM out earlier in the season...I have to say I don't think I ever once called for his head but I did begin to wonder if he was really the right man for the job.
He's done a great job with the limitations he's had to deal with as far as I'm concerned.
However, I still have concerns over player discipline and think it's something he should have addressed a long time ago.
That being said, I don't want to turn this into a negative post. Congrats Terry and keep it up.

| Vulture here!!!
I'm over the moon with the recent performances, showing real fight in games we would have lost earlier in the season.......is this down to TM being a tactical genius.............
I'd have to say NO NO and errrrr NO.
I'd say its a combination of things:
1) Dead wood gotten rid of....yes, Sherwin. Its a bit like last year when we got rid of Faumina or whatever his name was, we suddenly got some form back when he was gone.
2) Return from injury of Key players such as Ferres, Dixon and Widders----lets hope he stays fit, he owes us big time!!
3) Injurys to crap such as Clayton actually forcing Mattersons hand in playing youngsters who, clearly he had no faith in previously....but hey, haven't they done a marvellous job!!!
4) Form of Key players--Huby playing out of his skin, Sarg putting in some graft, Hudson showing what we know he can do, and I see a certain Mr Westerman is also finding better form.
So all in all, TM out i'm afraid, absolutely no use starting our season with 11 games to go is there?

So us winning games is down to players coming back but losing games when these players are out is down to the coach?

As far as i'm concernedit beggers belief that some fans blame all the loses on the coach but give him no credit when we win. One of the phrases that tm bashes often like to use is that the performances are ultimatley his responsibility. Only when we lose apparently though.
And what do you mean widders owes us big time?

I have seen far too many bizarre influences from TM so all of a sudden start backing him. Lets not get carried away here, ELEVEN games left in the season and we put some form together?? Not good enough.
I have seen shocking team selection, persistent use of big name but ineffective players and now TM has, to some extent had his hand forced by the loss of such players, we have an upturn in form....that is due to a combination of factors.
Do you not agree with any of the points I have made?
Yes, Widders owes us BIG time for the amount of time he has sat out with injury over the past 2 years, i'm sure he'd admit that himself!!

I think thats a bit harsh on Deano. He's been arguably our best player since returning from injury IMO.
I'd say James Evans is the player who owes us big time.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great player, we need more out of him in terms of game time though.
Agreed, Evans owes, but then again, have we really missed him?

The reasons why we havent got into good form is due mainly to injuries owen, ferres, widders, evans, sherwin and dixon have all spent alot of the season on the sidelines (and then sherwin left), combine that with a small squad (and though no doubt you blame that on him, i'm pretty sure no coach ever wanted to do a job with significantly less resources than his rivals) and we were always going to struggle, substitute any coach in the league for tm give him the same resources and same injuries and we wouldnt get more more than a couple of more wins and with many of them we would have a couple of more loses. But for a dodgy video ref descision against kr we would be in 7th. At the end of the day 10 clubs are spending more money than us in this league but we are in the play offs and some of them arent. Do you think tony smith would be second in the league with the resources we have?
As for the widders comment thats a load of bull, its a contact sport players pick up injuries, have you ever heard of a player that never gets injured? i havent. Do evans, ferres, dixon and owen all owe us big time? kyle eastmond has got injured again does he owe saints big time?
Widders made 18 appearances in sl last year, which isnt great but its far from unusual for a player to make only that many appearances, most teams have at least 2 or 3 players that miss more games than that, and that happens each season.

| I'd have taken being in the Top 8 at this point of the season. For a year that was meant to be a 'gap year' for most (including the Chief Exec), we're not doing too badly.
Terry out! Terry out! Terry out!
It bewilders me that our best coach in eons is still having to prove himself to some jokers. No resources, no top training facilities, but still flirting with the playoffs. We're playing above our stock, and everyone - including the coach AND the players - need commending for that - just as they should be blamed when things are going badly.

| TigerPie, you have a pop at the selection of Clayton, but he played on sunday for a good 60/65 minutes. Also you say there's no point in us starting our season with 11 games to go. Well, I & 99% of Cas fans would probably disagree with you if we make the 8.

| Credit where credit is due, well done to ALL at cas.
No small event that since the overpaid shirker got the boot, the team has become a team.
