Jeez you codheads of either persuasion are tedious..don't you ever tire of this 'we have more fans than Elvis' stuff.

Back on thread, maybe those clubs with grounds which are old but which they own and therefore control should score some license points against the lodgers/sharers in better stadia who - according to your argument - seem less empowered to ensure safety/security.

Interesting point. It would seem such clubs are 'unfineable' if the responsibility of stewarding lies with the stadium rather than the club. What kind of world is it where a club is punished for owning assets?

I'm pretty sure that in order to stage any RL match, Hull would have to have convinced Red Hall that the chosen venue would tick all the boxes, meet all H and S regulations, and that would have included adequately trained security staffing levels.

As part of their Licence, I'd hazard a guess that as far as the RL is concerned, it's Hull's resposibility to make sure these levels are maintained, therefore any sanctions will be against Hull, not SMC

100k fine should concentrate their thoughts!

Quote: Scrappy Doo "What are you trying to say there?

In my opinion, Cas should not have been fined for supporters chanting, it is part and parcel of the game.'"

Well said mate. The difference is Scott Donald is not a high profile union convert, and he hasn't moaned about it repeatedly on tv. I do not condone in anyway what happened to GT, but it is no coincidence the RFL acted after GT mentioned the incident on tv. If they don't act then it makes a mockery of the fine handed out to Cas. In my eyes it is not enough for the club to say"We don't employ them." They still have a responsibility to make sure they are doing their job properly. I have a number of people who work under me, I don't employ them, but it is my job to make sure they do theirs properly. If they don't it's me for the high jump.

Quote: Gotcha "Just wondering where the thread is and Petition frothing from the mouth against Hull FC?

I mean considering the fans incidents on Saturday of a fan running on the pitch to physically assault a player, or the numerous shockingly verbal songs aimed at Ryan Bailey. Songs that could also be heard on the TV.

I mean there were pages and pages of a thread against Leeds only a few weeks back. Surely the Cas fans are not only homophobic but childishly hypocritically biased aswell? or are they?'"

How dare you insinuate that all cas fans are homophobic just because a few morons chanted at one game. It is you that is childish!!!! No jog off back from wherever you came a026.gif

Its a lot easier to identify a lunatic that was arrested than to to identify faces among the crowd, so that infantile jab will cut no ice with real supporters.

Fact is the cod heads and kr have a history of causing trouble but the RFL do not punish them.

Wrong, Cas were fined because the liar Thomas changed his story from ' i didnt hear anything' to 'i was deeply hurt when i heard the chanting' and of course his agent/friend saw a few quid in playing the victim.

Fc could hardly fail to do an investigation when the bizzys had the scroat locked up, get real. If its fines for chanting , why didnt FC get done for the die cooky die chants at Wakefield ? take your time on that one

I may be totally wrong amber but the die cookie chants from fc fans was under the control of waky stewards?Or are away clubs responsible for their own fans chants?
I think stewards got sent into the fc section that was chanting but as i wasnt there im not 100%.
If for eg 50 waky fans pretend to be cas fans next year and go to the crusaders match at cas and start chanting nasty things would it be wakys, cas or crusaders responsibility?Or would the club send stewards in this time straight away and hold a meaningfull investy do you reckon.

Well it ends here because you know nothing about the event, there was at the most 15 seconds of these idiots and were talking about poorly paid stewards here not a ing swat team, so sonny how do you motivate stewards to get in there as quick as the sas ???

ffs get the facts before spouting e

Dont know why you dont want a reasonable debate amber without the anger but then again you have a big chip about this incident.Just hope your club learns from it.
After all Cas do have a quick response squad which acts on things like this dont they?Good idea it is too about the text alert system you have.
If any club can sort these few idiots out(all clubs have them)Cas can.
Best of luck next season.

Gaslight provided names and photos of the offenders as stated on here amber so your jab cuts no ice,lol and both fc and rovers HAVe been punished recently so to say that the RFl do not is incorrect .
