Really can't understand this at all, Boyle is younger, cheaper, has more potential and has his heart in Cas.
Why would we want to swap him for an ageing, probably dearer, crap player who left years ago??
TM/RW have a lot to answer for if they think this is a good idea!!'"
Ever thought he's replacing Higgins?
Jackson is a solid player who will strengthen the defence, which is what's needed.

that would suit me fine, could we be swapping him for snitch then we get a decent player and free up a overseas place but i think its all just a made up rumour to be honest, unfortunatly i think we are stuck with goldy for another 3 years. But on the plus side for goldy he has set up more trys than any other cas player this year the only problem is they have all been for the opposition

| Having known Ryan since the day he played his first game for Half Acres at Sharlston where he took the ball and ran towards his own posts, it was patently obvious to even a blind man that Ryan was going to make in SL.
Seeing him develop into the physique and stature of an accomplished player and be a part of Cas Tigers is all that Ryan ever hoped for.
I cannot for the life of my undersatnd why we are 'fannying' about with scuttlebutt about a journeyman SL player as Jackson.
Ryan Boyle examplifies to the rank and file supporters what it is to be a local lad 'made good'.......if clubs with such accomplished academy set ups as Leeds, Pies and Stains are sniffin' round Ryan then what the firking hell are our deveopment staff and TM contemplating not REWARDING loyalty by giving him a contracts as benifits his undoubted ability, as it appears that these clubs can spot exceptional talent.
I sometimes despair of the commings and goings at Tigers ........
FIONA, JACKSON or RYAN BOYLE........you choose, no brainer really, but hell, this is Cas Tigers...........................can't spake

That's silly talk, I would be disappointed to see Boyle go and those 2 brought in but if that is the choice TM makes then he is responsible for that decision and should be judged on what effect that decision has in the coming seasons.
We did do the same with Hendo, but by then it was obviously too late, decisions had been made and actions put in motion. It's not too late to let the board and TM know our thoughts on Boyle though.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a silly move as well, but if we get those players in and go onto win something. Or if Boyle doesn't make it elsewhere. Then you have to say that TM made a good decision, you can't say he should go based on a decision that we don't know the outcome of.
But again, I would rather it didn't happen and Boyle remained where he belongs.

| If Cas don't keep home grown talent it is madness. Has TM fallen out with Boyle ? The players rumoured to be coming to cas apart from Snitch are too old imho.

| I am not in favour of letting boyle go id give him 3yr deal asap let him develop with sargent as a mentor on the pitch. Snith I agree with paltyed very well this year.
I can recall an interview not sure if on tiger tv or not where matterson said we were looking for experienced super league players for recruits this year I maybe wrong can anyone else recall this.
