i am normally on cas's side, they threw the game away today, or should i say Sargeant did....'"
I've seen this comment elsewhere, basically that one error cost us the game today. So why do some fans feel the need to boo our entire squad? One mistake and we all throw the teddy out and demand our cash back? I still don't really agree with this argument of, "i've paid my £18 i'm entitled to boo". Does everyone who pays this £18 to watch a game of RL understand the idea behind it all? You pay your money, you cheer your team and if all goes to plan you have a great time as your side goes on to win the game. But sometimes it doesn't always work out like that, because the other team feel that they want to win a game also. It's a game, and just like football, cricket and lots of other sports often one team and their fans go home unhappy, but that doesn't mean we can all stamp our feet and demand our money back. Even more so when one side loses by four points in their first game of the season, and against a side that finished higher in the league than they did in the previous season. If we'd gone and lost to Fryston under 9's by 50 points i'd be boing, but we were [ijust[/i, beaten by another good SL side.

Stop talking crap! Stop harping on about this "clique" crap and making out we're all in it together against all you noobs. I disagree with some of the stuff you have posted, it's not because you hardly post and it's not because you've said something against another user who you think i go around to eat lunch with every day. I've disagreed with you because i think that our fans booing when we let in a try after 3 minutes against Hudds, when we went in at half time 4-6 down to Quins and that we lost the game 8-12 is rather pathetic and uncalled for.

Let me get one thing straight, i never boo cas, i dont agree with the idiots who stand near me who do, but today for a change i thought i would voice an opinion on the game as i felt strongly that we threw it away, something i dont normally do, and apparently because i didnt research flymo's name, i know nothing..... ah well, thats me told.

| Never mind tigers you have us up next at the JJB.
Considering our 1st two performances you should be in a confident mood.

Mate, it's been tough for us Cas fans over the last four or five years, we've had some rough times and some of the rugby hasn't been pretty. But ffs mate, we're not stupid!

Well, there you go. It looked to me like you were defending the boo boys. My apologies.
Opinions are like ar*eholes - we've all got one (yes me too) and they're usually full of sh*t.

| When the players go into 'work' tomorrow, they will discuss todays game, analyse it, discuss what they did wrong and discuss what they did right. Each player will analyse his own contribution towards the team. They will be annoyed with themselves if they feel they let their own team mates down / disappointed the supporters - with his own performance. There were 17 of them and each of them will go through that process.
There were 7 thousand of 'us' ! What part did we play in OUR teams performance. When Sarge made the error, did we encourage him to get his confidence back or did we jump on his back and boo him. In the first 20 minutes of the second half, did we stand silent when the team were under the kosh, struggling to get back into the game or did we get behind them, sing and try and lift them. With 20 mins to go, when we were looking for that vital try, did we add to the teams frustration, or help them ?
At the final hooter, seven thousand and 17 of 'us' were on the losing side. I am happy with the part that I played in contributing towards my teams efforts today. How many of our seven thousand 'team' can say that ?!
The most frustrating part of the boo brigade for me begs me to ask this question - Does booing /bagging your team, help the team to win ?!!!
