Cas fans will probably be able to tell me if im wrong, but as i understand it Chase is OOC this season. If the rumours of him signing a new deal are false then no transfer fee would be involved, and Wigan have plenty to play with salary cap wise for big wages. If he has signed a two year extension its irrelevant anyway !!!

I very much doubt a lawyer would lie about the length of someone's contract in a court.
As to why it hasn't been announced, I'll guess that the club know we wont be making the playoffs and there's season tickets to sell so if you wait until the bad news is out of the way then spring the Rangi has a new contract! story, sales will increase (or so they would hope). |
