I almost don't want to issue an apology as I'd hate to associate myself with those cretins we've all seen on youtube. I've never been so ashamed to be a fan of the club from my home town.

I hope they are brought to justice and that nobody was seriously hurt. Hopefully this dark day for our club is an absolute low and the club / community are able to restore some of its tarnished reputation!

I felt sorry for all the true Widnes supporters and for the club, they made what should have been a really memorable few minutes after the game, a time we would wish to forget.

Widnes have come a long way in a short time and these morons have put a blot on their remarkable progress.

Thank you to the many Widnes fans who took the time to apologise after the game and wish us luck against Leeds in the final. The genuine fans must have been feeling bad enough after losing, without these morons tarnishing the good name of Widnes.
