Wigan will know they are in for one hell of a game, I think its also safe to say there'll be more than yesterday's poor turn out of 4390'"
True it will be a tough game. I just hope it's not like the last five minutes of the league game, I couldn't cope with that again, I went through every emotion in that five minute spell lol

Was also the last time Wigan lost a home cup game!

As long as Cas fans get there in numbers and outsing Wigan with the team giving everything I will be happy.
Hopefully McThug anf O'Verated have shocking games. Can't stand it when they score.'"
Over-rated? Methinks he'd be first name on the team sheet if you were lucky enough for him to sign for Cas.

Seriously when was the last time Clarke stepped up in the play offs or challenge cup? always hear how poor McIlorum is until Wigan win a trophy and usually McIlorum is in top 3 players.

Mcllorum isn't poor, it's just DC is better.
Very childish point about trophy wins, if Jordan James wins a medal this year would that mean he was a better forward than say Danny Nutley ever was who didn't win a medal over here ??? Ridiculous.

| I said on page 1 bring on Wigan again prior to the draw. I stick by that. They are the cup holders and will naturally be favourites for the game. We will go about our business in the league before that from game to game. Slowly slowly catchy monkey, but I expect us to be a confident force for the cup game & as quoted elsewhere, to be the best you have to beat the best. (Granted, I would like to avoid Leeds in the semi, so we can beat them in the final)

that would be fine if i mentioned just him winning trophies, what i said is that he always out performs all these so called better hookers in the play offs and finals and then everybody shuts up until the season starts again. Daryl Clark has a long way to go before he can be counted as better.

Playing in the play-offs or a final doesn't make you better. It could be luck that some players are missing out through injury or suspension. Look at people like Ian Kirke at Leeds. No disrespect, but he's hardly world-class at Leeds yet has GF winners' rings. But you wouldn't pick him ahead of say, Ben Flower, would you?
Daryl Clark is a fantastic talent with a huge pedigree and already fulfilling his undoubted potential. He's not had the opportunity to showcase his talents on a higher level due to the fact that he's not had the team around him, or coaching, to catapult us into those top eight.
It's unfair to penalise him on that premise; if you want to compare stats and impact on a game then Daz Clark wins hands down over McIlorum and rightly should be England's second hooker. It seems to that Wigan fans have a tendency to see everything with their own side as perfect and wonderful; perhaps it's the 'little Cas' syndrome again? Sitting up there on your pedestal with an elitist attitude.
Hope the club is pinning all these to the walls as motivation.

Did i say it did? Its a whole different intensity playing in finals and plays off and McIlorum has always came out on top. He is a key spine player at Wigan he isn't an interchange prop. When was the last time Daryl Clark dominated a forward pack? Its more to do with the fact every week we hear how poor McIlorum and there is 6 better hookers than him but every time it truly matters McIlorum comes out on top. Saints fans compare him to Roby and every time we play he is the better hooker on the field. I think Daryl Clark has huge potential as is a good player already but until he has been in the same situations as McIlorum there is no way you can say he is better.
Last year it was:
Houghton is better, plays him out of a game in the challenge cup final
Lunt is better, couldn't even notice Lunt
Burrow is better, leads the defensive line and smashes leeds pack
Roby is better, Wigan only win because of there aggression, yeah McIlorum leads the defensive line and nullifies saints and Roby.
Higham and Monoghan are better, after the 80 minutes McIlorum is 2nd best player in the grand final.
Even against the Sydney Roosters McIlorum gets rave reviews from Warren and Gus (when Wigan played terrible)
People seriously need to get over this McIlorum is a thug and poor player because he is miles away from being a poor player.

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg |

I wasn't referring to Mickey Mac, by "O'verated" I assumed you meant Lockers, and you will need him to have a bad game for Cas to be in with a chance.

To all those people who critisized this team...tonight's for you.

| Over the moon you two have drawn each other (naturally). Would not have fancied Leeds at Wigan or Cas. Think some of the posters on here need to get their heads out of their ars*s and be more realistic about the enormous task of beating the Pies away. If the tie was at Wheldon Road then Cas would have been favourites, for me.
Think next month or so will make or break the season for Cas.
