You're doing your club and your own reputation no favours at all.

Salford have a great opportunity to multiply their fan base with their new investment - an obviously envious position for every sports club.

However when their tiny fan base is represented on a globally accessable website by people such as this, it does go some way to tarnish their achievements.

Salford have been very lucky to be where they are now compared to twelve months ago and you'd expect humble appreciation of that - not a sneering attitude as is on show.

I liked Koukash when he first took over at Salford and had no gripe with them. I certainly don't wish them to go bust, fail. But it's the whole circus in the media that has occurred since then and some of the comments regarding aspects such as the cap that have both frustrated me and annoyed me.

Then add in the pomposity and elitist attitude of some of their fans, not only here, but also on Twitter and I have lost a lot of respect for them as a club.

As much as we have this feud with Wakefield and what have you, at this moment in time I'd much rather have them in Super League because at least both clubs are in pretty much the same boat and have much more of an appreciation than some of these top clubs who haven't a clue or are run by people with rich owners (not including Salford who can't be defined as a top club yet).

yeah, it's like a homeless person winning the lottery isn't it. They spend ages asking for spare change and fearing it's the end - then suddenly they're better than all of the people (such as myself) who wished them all the best when they were on the brink.

And by "all the best" I meant prosperity. Now they are prospering they think it's clever to take the mick out of the people who had also feared for their future.

It's a shame that they're doing their other fans an injustice. I've heard of short-sightedness but it's unreal how fast memories are wiped by £ signs
