Maybe its the stadium issue which is holding you back.'"
Stadium issue?
We own our own ground so anyone could just pump money into WR and redevelop that if they wanted. Let's face, it all we really need to do is modernise the Railway End with new corporate boxes and a proper roof that goes all way around to Princess St and main stand.
Full length all seater main stand with hospitality facilities and new roof on both Princess St and WRE stands with proper toilet facilities behind.

| In terms of Hull signing our players or young players going, they get their heads turned by agents sometimes.
They also get promised the world, better facilities, the chance to play in bigger games regularly and also a little bit more cash. Not just that there's also the issue of potentially having a better chance of obtaining international shirts in a better team.
It's a shame but that's the lure of modern day sport I guess. People like Craig Huby don't get the credit they deserve at lower league clubs. Could have so easily moved on but stayed loyal to case and only ever wants to play for Cas. Wish we had 17 Craig Huby's.
If we could replicate that passion and loyalty, heck we might be further up the table.

Check out their league placings for the last 6/7 years, don't think they are much more of an average outfit themselves.

no way do any of them deserve a big money contract.
We replaced Arundel with Shenton a much better former Cas Player, looks like we will replace Walker with Lynch currently a better prop and former Cas player, Orr came back to us too for a few seasons , players come and go it's not a one way player drain.
It wouldn't surprise me if Arundel was shown the door and i don't think Cas would be interested.'"
it would cost them too much in compensation as he signed a four year deal, and didn't he score a trick against us and he will be playing at wembley so not a bad move

Agreed. Whilst I cannot understand Hull FC's obsession with signing Castleford produced players I also cannot see the appeal with going to play for Hull FC over the Tigers. Its a 2 way conundrum.

I blame Knocker Norton lol
He was probably the best signing our club has ever made and we keep coming back to you guys, trying to get another Knocker but, alas, there never will be one.
Cas has a terrific record for producing great young kids and even though we, as a club and a city, have probably 100 times more kids to choose from, we don't get close to your results. Your club is a real credit to the game and many Hull fans feel a little embarrassed that we keep knocking on your door when we want a good young kid with potential.
Anyway, I genuinely wish your club all the best and I hope that you sort out your off-field problems and get your next franchise sorted out quickly.

Put BBC on the 24th August at about 3PM to see why players want to leave Cas to sign for Hull.
I really like Cas and if they has appointed Powell instead of mill ward, these players might have stayed, but the fact is these players have more chance of winning things or at least playing in big games at hull.
Personally I'd rather keep lynch than sign walker. Not sure why we have an obsession with Cas players, thought it was Andy hay but he has no left.

Can't see Andy Hay having anything to do with recruitment at Hull FC - he was assistant coach. Sean McRae is the football manager so I would imagine he is responsible for squad building.
What is disappointing is that some Castleford fans think your club have seriously got it in for us which obviously isn't the case but I can see why they think like that.
Walker for Lynch could be a good deal but getting Thompson for nothing by waiting until his birthday in November is poor form by Hull FC. Its been common knowledge that he is joining Hull since May.

Four major finals in nine seasons is above average though

| four finals? not being challenging I just can only remember two (including this one in 2013) ...that's probably just me like
I've no problem with teams showing an interest in our players - I'm sure it was duly noted in our licence applications how many Cas graduates are playing top level rugby.
Disappointing it is they don't stay, I can't blame them taking more money in such a short career, and hull haven't got them off us for free!

| They will get Thompson for nowt & that deal is very shady, not getting him registered until he is 23, so they don't have to pay compensation.
He is a good player in attack, he knows were the try line is, but in defence he has some big problems, on a par with some of the other Cas lads, when a player plants his feat, closes his eyes & hopes the opposition run at him rather than round him, is a big reason we concede lots of points.
The one consolation for half of there new team mates is with another two Cas academy players rumoured to be joining Hull, the price of the bus will be cheaper for the rest on there daily excursion from West Yorkshire, to Humberside.
It makes you laugh when a club gets praised for it's youth development, that it chooses to import young players from the Cas academy, rather than its own, the difference with the Hull academy must be that when there youngsters don't make it in RL, Hull are better at finding it's academy players alternative employment.

If you read what he wrote, you'll find that he said 4 major finals in 9 seasons is above average (when compared to EVERY other SL club)
As a matter of interest, in that same 9 seasons, how many major finals have your scabby little club been in and how does that rank alongside the big clubs?
