Are you meaning chubby Ellis? If so, for us he's shown a decent kicking game but little else. Maybe teaming back up with Millward and a run of games could do him good, though.

Always played with his heart on his sleeve which is more than can be said for a lot of our players while he has been with us and very loyal when he could have jumped ship. He never had a settled run in a particular position so wasn't allowed to style his game, all the best Ryan.

Stayed with us and was loyal when we went down and never shirked away from playing out of position. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but at least he showed spirit and fight from time to time.

had 2 good season for cas in opinion , and we should be grateful that he stayed and played for us in nl1 when he could have gone elsewhere.
However ..................he has not offered value for money in terms of his reputed salary, if I hear correctly he will have been been paid 1million in total from cas since joining !

Whilst the time is right for the club and McGoldrick to part ways, even Ryan's greatest detractors cannot argue with the loyalty he's shown over the last 6 years.

Have to praise his loyalty to the club and disappointed to see him leave, we could have done with his experience over the next few weeks.

Time is right for both parties though. Although not sure why Hull would want him, surely Ellis is a better prospect than someone looking for another year, maybe two then a nice pay off??

Good luck to RM. Not always everybodies cup of tea but I don't think he deserves the nasty comments from some of the cas fans (minority I might say). Was never going to play for us next season so the business has been done, he's sorted and the club are already spending the wages on next seasons players 'win win' for a change.

Couldn't agree more. People go on about his loyalty but he had it on Easy Street when we were relegated (twice) and let's not forget that he had the chance to join the reigning NRL champions in 2006 but he chose to join Cas. Not exactly the mark of a man who whats to get to the top of his chosen profession. I think he has been more of a hinderance (with his inflated contract) to Cas than a help.
