well as a leigh fan, i only have good things to say about ryan, the kid is class, and will be a star for you or whoever for years to come, i personally want rowley to start ryan from the begining of the game, instead of leav ing him on the bench, he is our leading tgry scorer, just imagine how many he could score if wen played him from the start, a season long loan, so we will look after him, and enjoy is fantastic play for a few more months at least. brierley is leyther for now anyway

I know that life in the Co-operative Championships must seem light years away for you Sooper Dooper league fans - well, maybe not in Cas's case! Being pedantic, I'd just like to point out that Ryan, and Leigh (and Featherstone!) are not in CC1 - they are actually in the Championship. The likes of Rochdale, Workington etc. are in CC1. It's a bit like me saying Cas are in SL2!

As for Brierley, he has enormous potential - you've got a star in the making there - but I don't think he's physically ready for SL. He is being protected and nurtured in the Championship, and is not playing much more than half a game, when he is creating havoc against tiring defences.

He may well be rested in anticipation of a Leigh getting a battering, however if not.....it may well be worth watching the televised Leigh v Rhinos game to see how Ryan gets on against Superleague opposition.

He's rubbish.

Slow as a cart horse, can't tackle and the tries he scores are when we've already got games wrapped up.

Well, we'll know by tomorrow....because if he's named in Leigh's team to play the Rhino's on Friday, then I've a feeling that he can't play for another team within the same week.


If he isn't brought back then it will increase my suspicions of whether Millward acts in Cas' best interests or Leigh's....the Jury is still out at the moment.

Are you for real. Ian is a world class coach and knows what he is doing. Of course Cas are his main intereset as he will get bonuses etc for how the club perofrm and will get nothing for how good or bad leigh do. So dont talk rubbish!

He's an average nobody who dropped on one of the most talented St Helens teams they've ever had and a Leigh team that had one of the better squads in the league, he's done nothing anywhere else.

Brierley HAS to be in the first team now, he should be in front of McGoldrick already anyway.

If Orr is out too don't be afraid to play both Brierley and Johnson, just because they're young it doesn't you shouldn't play them - Saints did it last year and it worked so Cas should too.

A problem with Millward however is he said he would play the young homegrown players but so far he's playing someone from Warrington developing their talent instead of John Davies who is a better player, he's sent Brierley, the 2nd best stand off at the club to Leigh and until recently Jordan Thompson couldn't even get a sniff!
