| Are Wakey for real?
So 'football segragation' is finally going ahead.....
How will this be enforced? Do all fans have to keep their ticket on them at all times in case the Ticket Gestapo come a calling?
How do the Wakey fans who normally stand in the now Cas Corner feel about being moved?
I know Wakey fans who have stood there for years.
And Why should Cas not retaliate in kind with standing arrangements for the return fixture.
Talk about stirring up a hornets nest before a passionate game, I suggest more stewards may be needed.
Why not leave it up to fans and common sense for where you stand....mind you it is Wakeys game and as such theirs to steward properly should anything happen, their problem with the RFL.....

They should do it all the time anyway, make the away fans stand in the worst stand in the stadium, KR do it and Wakey are now.

| Whilst appreciative that the club have been forward thinking in attempt to reduce the liklihood of problematic fans (those drinking too much ale on a BH) this scenario seems to cause more problems than it solves. It'll be impossible to police and marshall correctly and will frustrate and anger fans from both sides especially those who will be attending with friends who support the opposite team to them.
Hopefully sense will prevail and folk will be available to stand where they please and enjoy the game

Insightful as always! Do you ever actually contribute anything to debate other than bile and infantile comment?

| Stuff that for a game of soldiers, you can stick your stand where the sun don't shine, I've stood behind them sticks for too many years to mention in every kind of weather. I for one will not now be going, I hope the favour is returned when you visIt WR and you are treated in the same manner and lets see how disgusted you feel when you are told where you can and where you can't stand and please god, let it pour down.

| This thread is embarrasing, it's their ground they do what they want
Deal with it!
I also think its more a reaction to gonorth than segregation, and surprise that's their perogotive
Enjoy the game and move on ffs

The general admission tickets state that you can be anywhere in the ground that allows standing.
Adding this rule 3 weeks after ticket sales started could (and seemingly has) caused problems.
Just an example here, by changing the rules 2 days before the game a "general admission" ticket is no longer for general admission which is false advertising, so Wakefield now will have to offer a full refund to anyone who will no longer attend the game having already purchased tickets.
It doesn't effect me anyway because I've more important things to do than go to Wakefield.

| Maybe this is the reaction they wanted/needed.
The main point is as has been mentioned, I bought my ticket to stand where I have for the past 21 years of visiting, only to be told 2 days before that I am now being moved elsewhere....

Can you pick out the key word which undermines your statement?
Oh & btw how many WR derby games have you kids been to? WTW fans ALWAYS stand in the Railway end, which is uncovered & has a bar which I am unable to access because I am a visiting fan. Not once did I kick up a fuss, I stood with my bredrin & supported my team come what may. I suggest a few of you grow a pair & remember what your folks told you about being respectful in someone else's house!
Example:
If I went round to Fullys house and sat in his place on his sofa, next to his nearest & dearest, after he "asked" me to take a seat in the armchair I wouldn't laugh in his face & make a beeline for the Lazyboy! I'd sit where he asked & say thank you!

I think you will find we already have on several occasions when told not to change ends having been at the railway end HTH

| There's been no changing of ends at WR in derby games for nearly 20 years!
