| I'm going to go for a Wakey win unfortunately. I think they will have a lot more enthusiasm and confidence than us and want to atone for last weeks defeat

| This thread is funny, both sets of fans have so little confidence in our own teams were all predicting ourselves to lose.
Truth is we have no idea what will happen friday and its a brave man that tries to suggest he does ( or gal )

| Too close to call this one. Tigers seem to be improving steadily over the last couple of games, Wakey looked clueless against Larndon and must have had a right flogging this week in training leading up to Friday's game. Before waiting for the teams to be announced and presuming both are near full strength I would say Cas have the edge definately in the halfs and just shade it in the pack. Play as we did against HKR and we should win this one. It could depend on which Wakey team turn up on the night.

| I predict the North stand to slowly sink during the match as the local yoof try to claim the patch as their own, New roof on and it will only look better with some windows and a conservatory.
Oh and if Flowers or Hay can get on the score sheet I will be ecstatic, as long as it rains in the second half I will be happy......
My prediction is a 10 point win for Cas 32-22 with the decisive score in the last minute, hold on to your seats this is what Superleague is meant to be about!

| Rip up the form book for this one - it's impossible to call.
Your lot will understand the nature of this local derby and may come out fired up; our brand new team is not steeped in the historical significance, so may take the field with cooler heads.
Either way, as Stevo would say, it should be a WOW of a game.

Having witnessed some of the utter garbage both sides have produced this season, I think that's being a little bit too optimistic, don't you? I think it could well be a rather nervy and error strewn encounter with the spoils being taken by whichever team is able to capitalise the most.

You need a press officer Bonzo - a nervy error strewn encounter is likely but add in some lager, poetic license and a bit of creative thinking and we can make it sound like a classic!

It's all relative; I don't expect to see silky skills and free flowing rugby, but I do expect to see a high intensity, passionate display from both sides.
It might not be pretty, but it'll be tense and hopefully, an enjoyable night of nip and tuck football, played to a packed house in a proper, old-school rugby league ground.
Get your pecker up - this is a match to decide which of us is the least crap!

| First bookmakers to price this up (bet365) go Wakey -4, which is about right. Two teams of seemingly equal ability in unpredictable form with 4 points added for home advantage.

I agree Bren, I am not expecting an outstanding performance from either side but the intensity and passion will be there. At the end of the day, local pride and bragging rights are at stake. I would be quite happy to settle for a Cas win rather than to play outstanding rugby and lose.

| For Cas fans who park on the common tonight and fancy a pint close by the Horse & Groom re-opens tonight at 5pm.
It has had a refurbish too and is under new ownership (Same people who have the Fox & Hounds at Newmillardam)

| Could the deciding factor be the absence of john kear. Since never fear john kear is here fiasco, kear always seemed to have always had the ability to lift wakie!
