My moneys on lam.'"
According to players who are friends of Lam he has said he has the job, however Gronky seems to have knowledge that Gentle is to be announced as Head Coach and the club are just killing a bit of time.
Lam must be one hell of a lying mo fo

Our chairman also said Morgan was not going anywhere and had two years left on his contract and not had an interview with other clubs yet a week later morgs is leaving...... Until it's confirmed by relevant clubs anything could be happening, I would like to see wrigley at ours to bring on our youth u only have to look at how ur youth have settled in this season and played with passion for the club.

| This is great, it is nice that we seem to be linked with some quality people - so far I have heared "nailed on from someone who saw........."
1: John Kear
2: Brian Noble
3: Justin Morgan
4: Andy Hay - promoted with any other number of names as a "football manager" to support
5: Ian Millward
6: Peter Gentle
7: Adrian Lam
Looking at the above, each coach will only have 3 or 4 players each to coach! Wish I knew a bookie who would offer a big punt long shot 33/1 none of the above?!?
PS: Dissapointed I never got an interview after my application!

I believe someone said pretty much the same thing about Gentle a couple of weeks ago. ie. according to numerous Wests Tigers players both past and present and his manager, he had got the job.
I can only imagine Cas are trying to find a suitable time to make the announcement that will benefit them in terms of media coverage etc. In the same way they're delaying announcing the 2 yr extension to Rangi Chase contract...

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Would that have anything to do with the result of his trial? A guilty verdict would make it hard to successfully obtain a new visa (which an extension would necessitate), especially with more news of "wanting to further reduce migrant/migrant worker visas".
If you had an agreement in place as you say CT must have been in contact with the gov.
Let's just imagine that you had, and say the verdict was negative and you were told you wouldn't be able to obtain a new one: Would you A) Keep the information to yourselves, keep playing him for the rest of his contract and let him go as a cult hero. Or B) Sell him ASAP- the nearer to the end of his current contract he is the less he's worth.
All of which is hypothetical but I hope you all remember Leo-Latu & his ill fated move to SR.
In all honesty I hope RC stays in SL for the rest of his career, an undeniable talent and an asset to the competition.

| If they are running into visa/work permit problems then Lam would be their best bet if they are after an NRL asst coach.
He is entitled to a British passport as his mother was born and brought up in Liverpool. No visa needed or work permit, as I understand it!

3.Peter Gentle
4.Ian Millward
5.John Kear
6.Daniel Anderson
7.Andy Hay
All these 7 coaches were a NO but the person did say he was a Aussie which Lam is not so read what u want to into this message

Thing is she might not realise hes from PNG and just thought he was an aussie due to him playing in australia for an aussie team. Easy mistake if your not on the boil with players nationalities.
