| We have to learn how to kill games off when we are on top.
It's so frustrating when at half time we should have been well in the lead.
Find that killer instinct cas, we should be winning games when we are the better team.

| Thought there were more there today than the official announcement. I bet Cas gave Ted Richardson a part time job - counting fans as they came through turnstile!!!

We were undoubtedly on top until Sharp's try which should have been disallowed due to the most blatant forward pass in the in-goal area. Then the decision by Thaler to give you a 'knock-on' when the ball was knocked out of Chase's hands and went backwards was another within the space of ten mins.'"
which rdecisions were they then?
there was numerous times thaler marched you up the field on soft penalties awarded to cas, but yet were ignored when cas were tackling or interfering at the play the ball, also there was two or three forward passes in the second half from cas, these happen and get missed

I felt much of the penalty count against you in the first half was justified - a couple of high shots and in particular trying to pinch an extra second or two holding us at the play-the-ball. It was something of a relief after last season when other teams were often allowed to slow us down and get away with it. We did seem to get away with a lot of split marking though - something we'll need to be careful of in Super League proper.

Completely agree on both counts. I was bang inline with the pass in the in-goal area. How the officials missed it is beyond me.

You were obviously watching a different game, there were lots of incidents unpunished in which FC were the guilty party, especially interfering at the play the ball, but the Ref's biggest single mistake, was the blatant forward pass from which you scored (although our attempts at tackling Sharp were woeful)
It's a well known fact that Thaler (or Failure as we prefer to call him) hates Cas with a passion, it would have been nice to win, but luckily the scoreline means nothing on this occasion, in fact I believe a defeat will make us even more focussed.

All ref's are *, things get missed, but yesterday i thought he wasnt that bad, and ateotd it was a friendly, a run out for both teams, FC were there own worst enemys yesterday, but i aint getting worked up about the ref, it was a friendly!!
Not a bad game, didnt see anything to suggest Hull are better than last season (Will Sharp maybe?)
Love coming to Cas, great ground, great fans!! good luck for the coming season

Clearly you just read the first sentence of my post as I explained the 'decisions' underneath.
