We should have made it this year, but a very heavy injury list resulted in an early season slump in form. If we'd had the strength in depth we've got next year, I think we would have got a few more wins. Hopefully this impressive strengthening will lead to the consistency required to be a comfortably top 8 side.
Not entirely sure it will be much harder, I've seen nothing in the recruitment of Quins, Salford, Wakefield, Bradford, Crusaders or Catalans that's particularly worrying and I don't think we've got far to go to being on a par with the likes of Huddersfield, Hull and Hull KR

Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. [i:23qz4bj5]Who needs flankers[/i:23qz4bj5]' grammar was actually correct.

Don't think he'll displace Huby or Jackson and I think Fozzard and Walker compliment their qualities perfectly therefore making rotation simpler and effective.
Jackson and Walker both possess that good tackling quality although Walker offers impact going forward too. Fozzard and Huby will both offer the experience in making the hard yards.

| I wouldn't rely on Fozzard to be a regular in the side - I stand correcting but he doesn't seem to have played that many matches in his last 2 seasons and i don't think thats purely down to better players keeping him out of the Hull KR & Saints sides.

He's played 36 SL games over last two seasons. That's 36/54, which is roughly 67% of games. He's also played in 3 Saints cup games, which brings his appearance percentage up to 68%. I'd be happy with him playing two-thirds of the season because we have Emmitt too and Snitch can always fill in too.

Think we may need one more half back who can cover so we dont have to play Deano there

No JW? looks pretty healthy in the props doesn't it? First match of the season, if it's heavy underfoot, i'd be tempted to play deano at stand off, with 3 props on the bench. Batter the other side. In the summer, I think you are right though. We need someone with a good kicking game and a good side step.
I hope we play Catalan early in the season before their team starts to gel, and salford late on when their dads army squad are on the sidelines.
How is MM set up this season? Will we be playing the mighty Wakefield?

| What is happening with Stuart Jones next season? Nobody has mentioned him. If we keep him we will have:
Hudson, Jones, Chase, Orr, Milner, Clark who can play hooker next season.
I always said cas was great for hookers

| Jones is the worst hooker possible, he slows down ruck area, good teams are better than average teams due to speed of ruck area IMO jones is as good as playing huby there, we complain matterson picking people out of position so let's not call for jones to be included he is at most a squad player if we want to progress and be a better team, Hudson needs to play longer otherwise give captaincy to someone else, we were playing better with young Milner, who was a younger faster version don't get me wrong Hudson is good but he needs to work more hours for his paycheck, after first 20mins we don't see him till second half, we need to bulk up and improve fitness this year for us to be capable of competing, we got good structure for squad so let's build on it, we need 2-3 more capable players to really compete (have a big squad) and no more excuses we should be 110% be looking for top 8 next year if not then something needs to give because at the end of the day you can only continue with certain policies but if there not working then things need to go down another route

Squad player. I think that Ferres and Snitch will be starting second-row and Widders has shown his quality and how integral he is to the squad this season.

We have a decent squad for next season! Before we have had a good pack or good backs but not both for a long time! Another half back would be useful. I heard a whisper about wood returning. He was ok last season. He might be a good stop gap while Brierley develops.

| A half back would be good, but why not play brieley, everyone else gives there youngsters a chance, last year of franchise let him have ago because if we don't and things go tits up we will lose him, way I see it is if your good enough you play, age is rubbish look at Tom briscoe other year dropped in great player last year sam tomkins look at him now eh!!! Dnt keep bringing Aussies or other teams youngsters use ours, we lose hell of alot of players by not showing faith and belief

| See that's the problem, losing our youngsters to other clubs like watts( England set up this year) bad attitude but clearly Morgan sorted it out, never rated Boyle so he was the right player to offload but it's so annoying that we won't put faith in our youngsters, last year we had mike cooper, chris Tuson and Kyle wood all other teams youngsters while we have jonny walker, JD,ollie Holmes and young brierley, maybe they weren't as good at time but the up and coming season they would have been ready, you can't wait for them to develop only way to develop in super league is play just put them in because I for one wouldn't complain losing as many as we do if there were real cas lads in who had been the opportunity because we will reap the benefits just like St Helens do

but as you couldn't be bothered making your thoughts readable, I decided after a bit that I couldn't be bothered trying to make sense of them
