| Its early in the season to say, but this Friday nights game is do or die time. If we lose to the Welsh then the confidence will be the lowest for several years with the players and fans. With Wakey, Saints and Huddersfield next up we must get some positives back in the squad.
The team CAN win Friday night. But will they win depends on getting issues resolved NOW. We need two half backs playing together moving the team forward.

Incidentally, an exclamation mark ends a sentence and does not require a full stop. The first letter of the next word begins a new sentence and should therefore be capitalised. [i:23qz4bj5]Who needs flankers[/i:23qz4bj5]' grammar was actually correct.
HTH.

Looking at the fixtures, this could be a very good week for us. If we win and other results go as expected we will be in a decent position in the league table and level on points with Leeds and Crusaders, and we will have opened up a decent gap between us and the bottom 3.
It would also be our first home win of the season!

| Incidentally Crusaders were the last team we beat at home and the man in the middle is the only one we've won with all season.

| Hopefully Crusaders will be targetting this too.
Let'a hope for a good game of rugby league. Keep an eye on Witt though, he's a tricky little player and I think could be the difference for us.
I hope you lot struggle with the cross kick as that has been his main weapon so far this season with big Vince Mellars taking them freely.
Anyway, hope to see a few of you off here in the pub near your main end behind the posts (forget the name) and share a few pints before and after the game. Good news is I am not dressed as Batman this time so won't be terrorised by kids for the full 80 this time. Looking forward to it now.

If everyone is fit there then I go:
1) McGoldrick
2) Dixon
3) Shenton
4) Evans
5) Ainscough
6) Chase
7) Sherwin
Sargent
9) Hudson
10) Jackson
11) Snitch
12) Tuson
13) Westerman
14) Huby
15) Jones
16) Higgins
17) Cooper
Big game for Higgins, I'm getting fed up of how useless he is so if he doesn't start performing, reserves and a tredmill for Liam.

| His effort is there, just the talent is lacking. Unfortunately that could be said for a number of our squad over the past few years

Just two things if you can help please?
1. Keep them bloody kids under control
2. If we are winning at half time please don't change the ref again

Id start Cooper, he seems to have good stamina levels and is not an impact prop from the bench. Put Jackson and Sarge on the bench and bring them both on after 15 minutes. I can't see us going into a game without cover for Sherwin. I think Thompson did enough to keep his place and I think he might be better under the high ball than Ainscough. If they are going to bomb the wings, it would be nice to have a plan B and give Thompson a go.

| He might be better under the high ball then Ainscough but Ainscough is more of a weapon going forward. Maybe use Goldie at 6 and put Thompson at FB, Chase to 7, Sherwin bench?

It might be worth putting Dixon inside Ainscough to cover the defensive frailties, he's definitely outstanding in the air.
