| This should be a good spell for him. If it suits both parties I don't see any reason why this deal won't be extended beyind the month. He's such an exciting player to watch and I don't actually think his defensive frailties are as big as some would have you believe(they're not in Kevin Pennys league thats for sure).
I look forward to watching him on Saturday night if he's selected.

We've got high hopes for Ainscough and the best way for him to develop is playing regular RL at a good level. NL1 was what we hoped for but SL is even better for him.

I just hope we're as patient with Ainscough as Saints have been with Scott Moore and Vice versa. It's a credit to Scott Moore's desire to play for Saints that he stayed patient for 2 year long loan spells to finally claim a place in Saints squad for 2010.
It could be a couple of years before we see a regular place in Wigans line up for Ainscough but aslong as he's getting superleague experience in that time then thats fine.

Does seem strange that you can dual register a player, then loan him out like that who has leigh got ?

| Not your clubs fault i am just annoied with the system.I have seen widnes shafted a few times so not bitter much. Leigh have blythe, mitchell, mccarthy from wire and jacob emmitt from saints.RFL just do not care about championship teams as if we are nobody.I have lost interest in watching internationals and superleague due to no promotion and relegation.I hope next franchise announcements widnes can have a shot at superleague.
Goodluck with ainscough but i am just angry with them RFL knobbers.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| Total disgrace , so now we have triple contract players , why not just have a weekly auction for who plays where
Yet another kick in the nuts for Championship clubs and fans

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Wigan called him back from his loan spell, and have now sent him on loan to Cas as this will be more beneficial. Nothing to do with Championship clubs. Super league clubs can send players onm loan where they want to.

I remember him ripping into us at BV, cracking player and a good deal for Cas.

| Surely the point of the dual contract system is to develop plays by giving them a higher grade of "reserve" rugby? The reserve league isnt the best so this helps that.
It cant be in the players interest to chop and change like this? Two clubs systems is a challenge but worth it as the system would work. To then loan him to a 3rd party is a nonsense?
The system should stay as it is and for instance Cas should have players who they then dual contract with say Featherstone. Then when such an occurance happens they call players back from that club.
Yes, its good for Cas to call on a player of this quality, but surely not for Ainscough, not for Widnes and certainly not for the system.
RL has a habit of messing up its own good ideas!

Its definatley in the best interest of Ainscough to go to Cas and play in Super league, which is a much better quality competition compared to the NL1.
Widnes have agreed to terminate the dual contract agreement, therefore he has no link with them and its just a straight and simple loan to Cas. I'm sure Widnes are still pretty happy with the 2 top quality youngsters they still have on loan from Wigan.
