He missed a few things and at times allowed both sets of players to lay on to long. But then this seems to be common in every game this season. But on the whole I didn't think he was to bad.

| That was actually one of the most dull and boring games I've ever seen in my life. Bradford came to slow the game in just about any way possible and succeeded in doing so for 65 minutes. When we started to play our own game and rise above the spoiling tactics, they simply couldn't cope with the speed of our play. The win was justice in the face of purely boring rugby.

I wouldn't say that it was a boring match, but I agree that they seemed to be trying to slow us down a bit. They had 3 men in the tackle every time, and the last man would just lay on the top for a few seconds before running back into the line.
What made me laugh was that the first time we tried it we got penalised for it.

It was dull. God help the fans when Bradford play Quins or Hudds this season, they'll all leave wanting to jump off a cliff.
Quite often there was a sneaky pull on a leg on the blind side to the referee; leaving a knee in the tackle; hands on the ball and generally holding on a long time before releasing. The leaving a man out of the scrum trick was laughable and did you see Newton just keel over with nobody anywhere near him when they were 26-22 up?

I was trying to decide whether you were being tongue in cheek with your first comment but now I'm not so sure.
I thought it was a pretty entertaining game to watch and the Bulls played a lot more expansive rugby than they have in past seasons. The days of the giant pack that just tries to steamroller the opposition seem to have gone.
I thought their back row of Langley, Morrison and Menzies were very dynamic and looked dangerous every time the ball got in their hands.
For once though (against the bulls) I thought we got on top in the front row. Once again Sargent and Feather were outstanding - did Feather ever play as good as that for the Bulls? - and Hudson/Netherton more than matched key man Newton.
Let's not get carried away though, we played pretty poor for large parts of this match and it was only an amazing last 12 minutes that got us out of jail.
