We're the first team to post 50+ points in SL this season.

Top stuff!

Quote: -Beth- "Great performance from the lads. I feel a bit sorry for Salford because we were in the same position last year. But I can't lie - it's nice to be on this side of the scoreline.'"

Tough one for them to take because they'd have been looking at "teams like Cas" as a target to maybe take points off. The result tonight speaks a lot more about the Tigers' progress than it does about Salford. icon_biggrin.gif

To turn Wigan over, without taking anything away from the performance and lads, you could say a one off. But to turn Salford over with 50+ points isnt a coincidence. I think cas may have improved a lot more than we anticipated. Im not expecting a Grand Final though lol

Everyone sees Cas as an easy-beat. Even after being well and truly beaten, Wigan fans are still claiming they should have won games against "teams like Cas" Maybe the tides are finally changing! It feels great, and tonight certainly does speak a lot more about our progress. We finally look like a solid team across the park.

Away at Catalans is tester. To win their will confirm just how much we have improved. Although cas were on fire tonight, salford was in NL1 last season and still have a long way to go. So next week will be a real tester. Mix a perfomance between the wigan and salford ones, we should be ok.

shifty was absolutely fantastic tonight. It was performance out of the tos draw. Everything seemed to revolve around him. Long may it continue! If he keeps it up he could be a contender for the albert goldthorpe medal.

Agreed. Sherwin was all over tonight. Thought Owen and Mcgoldrick had good games too. Widders speed for his try was very good aswell. Overall a pleasing performance and win. Thought there looked more than the crowd given though.

they always under quote the crowd. The more cynical of us would say it has something to do with the tax man. I commented about widders speed to my mate. I loved his little celebration dance. You can see the guy has character.
