Think this through, are you saying that all these people saw a violent assault on an innocent man, did nothing about it at the time, nor reported it to the police either?

Wow
Nope. Not saying that. Haven't said that anywhere in this thread. I didn't see it. Only heard about here tonight. I do not know whether it happened or not. And I haven't made a single judgemental remark about said incident.

That would be the stance of someone not in possession of all the facts.

This is the opposite of you and James Bond, who profess that, because they didn't see it, it didn't happen.

You are an Ostrich or incapable of rational though processes. Possibly both.

Just noticed it wasn't you who originally posted about it, so my apologies.

But still, sounds a bit fishy for the bloke who posted it.

That would be hard to do when by all accounts the kid who did it has never been to a rugby game and will probably be moving on again in a week or 2.

Of course, this train of thought could be applied to the "witnesses" to the window incident!

Why didn't a genuine fan do something about it?

Easier to cop hold of a little kid, than to jump into a brawl to help someone. That's our society today though - sad.

Wow.

This thread has degenerated into some rubbish. In fact, the only sensible post is by Marshy on here so far and that's because it's probably correct.

Seems like everytime there is an incident other fans, namely Wakefield fans, come on here stating incidents that have "happened" without no factual or visual evidence. Nor has anyone else said anything over the course of the last few days. As Marshy said, seems like people stirring rubbish in the hope of Cas getting into trouble. Jumping on the bandwagon so to speak and trying to stir the fact that Cas's whole fanbase is just full of pricks determined to cause trouble. Get real.

I'm pretty sure if some Wakefield fan had been set about by Cas fans that it would have been reported by at least someone. I'm also pretty sure that if hundreds of fans were around all of them wouldn't have just stood idly by and nothing reported.

I think it's time moderators on here started looking at some bans, unfortunately. All this bile does is increase trolling.

Anyone 'copping hold' of the kid would have been risking getting themselves into serious trouble .
I copped hold of a scrote on our car-sales pitch a while ago . He was letting handbrakes off and rolling the cars into eachother . As it was late at night and in an industrial estate we decided the best way to deal with him was to take him to the local police station . He voluntarily got into the car , and was driven less than a mile to the station . Guess who was arrested , and almost charged with abduction of a minor when we took him into the police station icon_rolleyes.gif
He was 15 years old , and his grandad is a regular customer of ours . Thankfully the grandad had the common-sense to sort things out so that the charges were dropped . It could have gone proper pear-shaped if he hadn't got involved .

Much easier to jump into a brawl and break it up . Less chance of landing yourself in trouble with the law as long as you don't start brawling too.

May as well lock this post as whatever is stated true or not will be denied by 007. Even if it was spread all over the newspapers today he would come up with some cock and bull story to question the facts. What people have brought up in this thread does happen at some point at possibly every ground in the country at some point during the season so please dont make out things like this dont happen at Castleford. Fans on the beer all day in the sun on a bank holiday ? there will always be incidents but to be pointing the blame at an 8 year old traveller ??

PS; I have had car vandalised previously at Salford and Castleford......the solution to stop this was to take out any Leeds flags, scarves or stickers and since i have not had a problem........maybe even the gypsies hate Leeds !!

So there was no factual or visible evidence over the bottle/beer can throwing or the homephoebic chanting then, its quite apparent that Cas fans need little help from anybody regarding getting them into trouble, this latest incident just highlights that, and also goes a long way in proving that you rightly say Cas have got more than their share of pricks hth.

I was among the Wakey fans that was attacked by the drunken Cas thugs who were throwing beer glasses' on Wheldon Rd at women and children when we beat you 18-0 a few years nothing was reported then by any Wakey fans so I cannot understand why you are so confident of your statement, imo trying to defend the indefencible when you are clueless of the facts unless you have proof otherwise makes you just as bad as those involved and deserve any criticism coming your way.

time this thread was locked, there isn't a club that hasn't got idiots something which some of the people on here seem to forget, the cas team and cas fans have experienced problems at away grounds too. It has just turned into an opportunity for opposition fans to come on and have a dig. i suggest we wait until the facts come out and if it is proved to have been a cas fan judge cas as a club on how it is dealt with.

lets put it this way i was actually physically assaulted by a leeds fan a few years ago, I didn't go bleating about on internet forums or writing to the rl press. I reported it to an official body and allowed it to be dealt with correctly I didn't go round tarring every rhino with the same brush as the idiot who assaulted me

I wasn't referring to any incidents that happened last year, or years ago. I was referring to those mentioned in this thread.

It's all these Wakey trolls have now is to refer to past crowd troubles.

They know as well as everyone else they're gone from Super League so are resorting to petty, bitter anti-Cas bile as much as they can in a hope it brings us down with them.
