| We played as a team today and it's the first time we have done that in a long time! I was very impressed with Ellis, a cracking debut for the lad.

| I went today expecting something similar to that score in reverse! What an amazing performance though with some fantastic work in the forwards as well as some creative and committed work from the backs!
Huby was simply brilliant with some very powerful runs and the likes of Jackson, Emmitt and Mitchell ran hard as well. Orr controlled things very well and was complimented well by a fantastic Ellis performance on debut. His kicking game certainly provided something which has been missing and his all round vision was great! Griffin and Youngquest both played well and despite an early knock on, Owen was great scoring a superb individual try which I can't wait to see again on Fulltime tonight. Add to that some great play from Hudson and Milner and it was just one of those performance which is a sheer joy to watch.
I don't know about anyone else (and I'm aware that this is just one game) but things felt really different today and for the first time this year we saw out players play like we know they can. I just hope that this is a sign for the remainder of the year and that we have turned the corner

Twice as many Giants fans today, as Cas fans that came to the Galpharm. In fact I was surprised how many turned up considering our poor run of form.

| I was saying to my son that i thought we would play better and the score would be closer, but i wasn't expecting us to do that. Fantastic game and i wouldn't mind Youngquest and Orr staying on another year.

| For the first time all season Cas played for a full 80 minutes with complete committment with a clear game plan and outstanding defence. Overall it was a great team performance, and a level of display that I hope we're going to see more often. Whilst I thought the match would be a tough one to get a result from, I expected a big improvement after last Monday. I think the comments issued to their fans by Brown and Davy are though, a little disrespectful, almost as if they expected to turn and just leave with the points.

Having been stood amongst the Cas fans at your place, and behind the Huddersfield fans today, I'd have said it was about even. There certainly weren't twice as many Giants fans today as we brought to the Galpharm and that match was televised.
Overall though, a disappointing crowd which will contribute to a disappointing average this season, with Catalans and London still to play at home. I expect London's travelling support, despite Cas being one of the easiest away grounds to visit (straight up the A1), will be absolutely shocking as usual.

| Highlight for me was when Richard Owen ran straight through and over Greg Eden for his 2nd try. The way Eden folded it was as if Huby had ran at him. The difference was that we didn't give a penalty away until the 50th minute and completed a high percentage of our sets.

That was good, as was Danny Orr's shot on Luke George - BOOM!
I have to admit to not being able to cheer when Griffin scored for laughing. Brough, Brown and several others could've walked over in that attack but kept trying to do the fancy stuff - I can only assume Griffin got bored and thought "FFS I'll have that!" and off he went!

Thought brown should have walked over the line it was gapping right infront of him.
For some reason he turned sidewards and put the pass in, lack of confidence if you ask me.

| Where are all the fev & wakey trolls today? Their boards are quite quiet today as more often then not there's numerous Cas related threads on there.

I've now seen as many wins live as I've missed (3). I've still missed fewer defeats (2) than wins (3)!

After the season we have had it will take me more than one game to change my opinion.
However, credit where credits due that was an amazing performance from 1-17, between orr, ellis, jackson and owen it was hard to pick an mom.
Ellis looks like an excellent acquisition.
