Did he jump or was he pushed? Reading the official line it was mutual consent and Kear makes it sound like he fancied a change but I wouldn't be surprised if Glover & Elston aren't over the moon about him admitting to applying for the Cas job. Plus if Glover's gonna sink some money in he might fancy doing that with a new coach in situ.
Either way I'd be hugely surprised if he ended up at Cas given the calibre of other candidates that have applied for the job.

Much bigger & better coaches in the line, and the one I've heard is getting the job will bring even more modern Aussie style tactics over, making even Nathan Brown's tactics look out dated. |

He said before D Day, he would like to take us into the new franchise, now he claims his 5 year coaching cycle has come to an end.
I'm guessing he's been told it's no new contract and he's ok with that.
It's the best for both parties. |
