Good luck for next season mate'"
Cheers Pyeman i am looking forward to the bigger away support and atmosphere.I just feel lucky i can watch my team in the top flight and i really like to go Catalans in the sun. Well seems a few want us to fail, and be nice to not get the wooden spoon. Hope to see a few of you at the Stobarts.

In all honesty, not too bad. Bit overpumped considering he was already your star and contracted to 2012 anyway but that mr spindoctor for you.
On the flip side it drummed up interest on this forum and gave cas some good exposure so from that respect not a bad idea.
If I was a cas fan I'd be a touch deflated but it will be forgotten about come next week. The extension is good news for cas anyway. But realistically he was not going anywhere which means he would have to apply for a working permit.

i for one dont want you to fail, had some good battles with your team in the past and am looking forward to them being repeated. davies and isa will go very well for you after watching them this year, isa is still raw but has lots of potential and davies looks to be a very good prop already. feel free to come over and say hello when you visit as i stand in the away end most games next to the supporters bar.

| Having had time to think about Rangi Chase, it is great to have signed him up for a few more years, and Cas now really are in a great position, let's say Rangi has a great 2012, he really will be hot property and the big fish will be back after him, but he will still have 3 years to run on his contract so it's going to take a massive deal to prise him away from Cas, we could be talking 500k plus, which of course Cas could either cash in or keep there superstar player, either way it's a win situation for us. And to be honest what clubs could afford to pay that kind of substantial fee.

I get the distinct smell of agents work!
Noticed he said in talks with Cas yet then appears talk of a 3 year deal at SL newbies, possible starting spot etc etc. So what can Cas offer? You get my drift!

30462.jpg [b:3oz7jfnu]Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane told BBC Radio Manchester:
"Some people within the club [Castleford] have come out with comments saying we're beatable and it's a great game for them and they're very confident.
Many of the comments I've heard have been bordering on disrespectful.
They can be as confident as they want, but they're going to get a tough game this weekend and we'll be trying our best to make sure they don't get that win.
We've played in some big games over these last few years and they've not played in as many, if any, so to be that confident is very risky for them.
They come here with confidence because they've scored a lot of points and beaten us at home, but I wouldn't be overconfident if I was them."
[u:3oz7jfnu]Incidentally Wane's mob got stuffed 16 - 4[/u:3oz7jfnu] [/b:3oz7jfnu]:30462.jpg |

| I'm absolutely delighted that Rangi has extended his contract at the Tigers, but if what i have heard is correct regarding his salary then I'd bet that Rangi is far more happy than i am at his re signing
If true then he must surely not only be our highest paid player ever, but also on a contract that could not be taken on by even Warrington

| Although I would love to see him at Hull, I really hope Rangi Chase stays with Cas to lead you into your new stadium. To Cas he's worth whatever you are paying him.
Anything but the worst case scenario which sees him move to Leeds.
Best wishes for 2012.

Seriously, have you just plucked a number out of thin air and gone with that? Anyway, £500k will be peanuts to you lot after you've sold Wheldon Road for £150m.

If you believe Bradford got at least £100k for a decent 30 year old prop with one year left on his contract why wouldn't you be talking £500k for one of the game's best half-backs at 25 and on a 4 year deal?

Ah yes, this old chestnut that was so often levelled in Sherwin's direction also. What a player is paid is confidential between the club and the player. It would be unwise to get hung up on 'what you've heard' as rumour, conjecture and speculation is more often than not, exactly that.

Whatever he is on he has earned it. We've given a 4 year deal to the hottest property in SL. He's proven from day one that he is the guy that can win us a game. He's kept his nose clear over here and is the face of the franchise now. I would suspect that playing budget will be bigger next year and that will be mainly down to Mr Chase's deal. Worth every penny.
