| Quote Gronk!="Gronk!"Yes they would be, but they also wouldn't be good enough anyway if they can't get in the Wakey first team already
An article by Dave Parker is usually all bull, this is the same here Clark is under contract and the same story crops up every year just swap the players name, the other year for example Richard Owen was going to the NRL according to Parker.
And again, what has this got to do with anything? Stop trolling and get back to your own board.'"
I agree Parker is a bit of a dart thrower with his predictions but he did call it right when you couldn't afford to keep Shenton and Westerman. History repeating itself again

Couldn't afford to keep them? Jesus christ you are an idiot
Shenton was OUT OF CONTRACT and wanted 130k a year, Wigan told him where to go making demands like that, as did Cas - do you think he's worth that kind of money?
Westerman had a year left on his contract and stated his desire to leave, so Cas sold him for 150 grand instead of letting him go a year later for free, brilliant business.
But lets not let facts get in the way of your trolling, back to the ignore list you go

Some grossly inflated figures there I think. I'm sure the club would have you think that. At the end of the day they can't say we need to sell our best players because we can't compete in the market place. The off season should be interesting I wonder what the excuse will be for selling Rangi

| Quote deeHell="deeHell"I can see you guys having some trouble competing in the market place in the off season. It seems your planned raid on the Wakey academy has well and truly gone Pete Tong after Tuesday’s events. Funny how things turn out isn't it? If we had off gone down you would of well and truly been the top dogs round here, looks like it's not to be.'"
i think castleford will be very happy with the youngsters coming through the system has will wakefield, ive always said there is plenty to go round both clubs, from what i was told the only wakefield players cas were interested in were mariano and paul johnson with the other been kieran hyde although my wakey pals tell me they would pay for the taxi if it meant hyde came to cas but heyho, like others have said whats this to do with a possible court case against chase i dont know.
i understand your pleased to have got a new franchise but the all conquering wildcats team asnt quite taken shape just yet and isnt likely to anytime soon.

| Think deeHell is holidaying on shutter island. Never seen such deluded conspiracy theories.
Anyway I will give you one thing - I am quaking in my boots at the spending power of Glover.
I mean, after the way he's been throwing the cash around bringing players in this year to ensure you get a good league position and keep your SL licence... that's only the tip of the iceberg, eh?
I know there were no players available to sign, but all those massive transfer fees he paid to buy players out of their contracts with other clubs? Impressive.
I wish we had such financial might. We truly are in trouble for next year.

I'm told you where after a lot more than them 3. For the produce and sell policy to work you have to keep the conveyor belt going. Trust me it's been done at Wakey for years.

Don't fear too much Monkey the chunky transfer fee you'll get from Rangis sale should give you a bit off thump in the market place.

cant see wakey been able to tempt many of the quality cas youngsters coming through, cas have shown i9n recent years that it pays to bring through local lads and that policy will continue, has for the conveyer belt well maybe if it would have been oiled a little better than players such has adam milner, nathen massey and oliver holmes would be playing for their home town teams but the facts are they were badly let down on scholorships they went elsewhere.

| This whole Glover Wakey thing is pointless, the salary cap and percentage of turnover governs the amount a club can spend on players, there is a sliding scale for exactly that reason. So, the wealth of any benefactor is mediated through those mechanisms. If Wakey can improve their position and compete better in the league - brilliant, well done them - matters little to most readers of this board.
The rest of the thread, interesting indeed, but thats about it; speculation about court cases etc is tricky - there are lots of court cases where people COULD be called to appear, but largely depending how people plan to plead and the legal implications they are rarely forced to do so.

Exactly...lets see if the citizens of Wakefield come through the gates in enough numbers to start their new "Dynasty".
Good luck to them though...even if it tough listening to a smug git attempting to derail yet another thread.
As for Rangi, well i guess the club will know the full details, but won't say anything in case it affects the ticket sales for the semi final.
