| There were a couple of ambulances going up towards Belle Vue after the game but I have no clue if they were going there or not.

I suppose after Rochdale and Wire fans gave us praise we was about due some flack.
They're all angels and we're the Millwall of rugby league.

| I thought on the balance of play, you deserved the win.
Not too happy about the first try but I haven't watched it again.
To be fair thought you should have won in normal time as I thought Dixon conversion went over when it was disallowed.
Well done, let's hope everyone watching could see the benefit of both of us remaining in Super League.

| Never known scenes like it at rugby league at the end as dixon slotted the goal over. Fantastic. Great game of rugby, epitome of derby day cup rugby.
I really do hate W*kefield. But I love to hate them. Surely games like this are a good thing for rugby league and super league. They lapped it up good friday (and deservedly so) & we got our own back today (deservedly so)

It is only a RL team. I dont 'hate' any RL team. I dislike some, but hate??? It is only an game of rugby league? I support Wakefield but have cheered Cas on before.

Never saw any from Cas. I did see the stewards come and keep an eye on the bunch of 40+ year old men having a go at a woman Cas fan. The steward heard one of these [imen[/i call her a "f***ing inbred tw*t" though. The woman also got a photo of the Wakey fan and is taking it further. Hope those big tough men are proud of themselves. By the way this was when Wakey were 16-6 up but strangely I never heard from them at full time.
Cheers for the well wishes Bigal and the other Wakey fans. THAT'S what rugby league fans are all about!

hate is a big word,i would have hated losing to wakefield today, i also hate those so called wakey fans that taunted us when we were relegated but i also realise that their are some good people and good supporters of wakefield who i would hate not to see at castleford again for a league fixture.

| Speaking of trouble, my brother who was parked in the "official" car park at Belle Vue had his car keyed which has been reported to the Wildcats and police. Well by "reported" to Wakefield, more like shrugged off.

I've cheered on Wakefield before.
Love to hate.

| Congratulations you lot; on balance, you probably deserved to win.
I think the game today served its purpose, regardless of the outcome; both teams and sets of supporters showed the RL world that getting rid of either of us would be a travesty, given the history and tradition of both sides and the passion that two clubs only 8 miles apart can generate.
Now get your mugs made.

| Not the most skillful of games by either side, but on balance you deserved the win. MOTM for me - Danny Orr. I think he totally bossed it!
Well done, I hope you win it now.
