I said the same thing on tuesday night. Lets face it though whichever way you look at it we need another half. Netherton is ok, but to suceed, ok players need to be versitile. Only SL standard players can get away with playing only 1 position in SL.

| Quote Fully="Fully"Team, IMO, judging by people's comments, should be:
Thompson
Dixon
Arundel
McGoldrick - don't put him back to full-back, please TM!
Wainwright
Widders
Chase
Higgins
Hudson
Jackson
Huby
Snitch
Westerman
Bench: Ferres, Wood, Jones, Sargent.'"
I've been a big fan of jordan thompson, but he let far too many balls bounce that he could have taken on the full (about 8 as i recall) and you cant do that at fullback. I wonder why the fans that slagged off mcgoldrick for not taking balls on the full (a couple of times a game) havent even mentioned it. Fortunatly for thompson he made up for it in a big way with the ball and all tackle near the end that saved a certain try. Hopefully he will be back on form on sunday as thats the first bad game he's had.
My team for what its worth (assuming evans still crocked and no new injuries apart from shenny)
1 goldy
2wainwright
3 thompson
4 arundel
5 dixon
6 widders
7 chase
8 huby
9hudson
10 jackson
11 ferres
12jones
13 westy
14 wood
15snitch
16higgins
17 sarge

| Quote who needs flankers?="who needs flankers?"To be fair to TM, Hudson can't do the full 80 and so Wood is the obvious choice to fill in at hooker.'"
for me Goldie on the bench and then bring him on in 2 stand off and then you could move chase or wood in to hooker for cover.

A new hooker would also help

What a shock! There was the perfect player there for the taking and John Kear found him

Id take that think would offer another dimension with goldy of the bench think we really need wood at 7 he takes the line on well and organises things then frees rangi up t play off the cuff. Also give walker a game he cant do any worse than sarge and least were brining walker through then

I see Millward is being his usual dipstick self.
www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague ... 85022.html
"This is a crunch game as whoever loses it will go second last." Yea if they beat us by 50 Oh and quins would have to win by a shedload for that to happen too.
and what did the mighty Millward say Quins will do this week against HKR??
" it's Hull KR to win and cover the start as they are at home."
Wow genius Ian
No wonder Batley stuffed you even with your boatload of duel contract players.
