I can understand why you are all a little deflated at the lack of a new signing but you've got to remember who you've tied down to a few more years, ANY other club would have been chuffed to have been announcing this today!

| Very pleased that Rangi is staying but feel the club have made a bit of a phaff with the announcement.
I get the feeling this is our big news for the off season....any more signings will be squad fillers and promotion of some youngsters.
Maybe when Hudson & Mcgoldrick leave end of 2012 we will be in a better position to spend (and wisely)  |

I know how you feel. Did you hear about our meeting last year at Cedar Court? The 'biggest in the history of the club'? 2000+ turned up, so many that they had to do it twice! All because of... a Wakefield lottery and a cover over the north terrace!  |

Cas spend no where near full cap, we have at least 400k of cap space, whether we have much money to make many signing is another matter....... |

Well Rangi will have been offered alot at Leeds,Wigan, and Warrington as down to agents.But still a good signing and bet you are over the moon mate.Wish we could get a decent halfback at Widnes, as looks like Hanbury and White at the moment.I would like to see Danny Craven play at halfback rather than at fullback.Rumour Brierly coming to Widnes, and i am not too convinced or excited about that mate. |

Breirly has posted on twitter that he isnt so make of that what you will.Hanbury and white are decent half backs from what i have seen, you could do worse than sign obst (fc want rid for qouta reasons apparently) as he can do a job in the halfs and at hooker, can be a very dangerous player at times.
