What would make a man who has coached his country with relative success, won multiple super league titles and knows the current Super League sides and players already rank lower than 3 Australian assistant coaches?

He has been in charge for about a month, hardly experience that would put him ahead of Noble. Surely being Australian can't really count for so much can it? |

The Head Coach interviewed could be Kevin Moore? Currently unemployed?
As for Australian coaches they may not know the players or the SL comp as well as a local coach but they know the game better than anyone if they have been in a good system. Any assistant with Bellamy experience (Maguire) or Brian Smith experience (Trent Robinson, Tony Smith) will be successful IMO.
These coaches are at the forefront of understanding and coaching RL |

Brian Noble did work under Brian Smith and I am sure he learnt a lot. Brian has continued to learn over the past 15 years since. If Noble has learnt anything else or progressed in his thinking how could he be up to date with the latest trends from NRL.
