It shouldn’t happen, but I suppose you expect it. I reckon Castleford had close to 2000 fans there yesterday so there is obviously going to be a minority within there who are idiots. The lady who ran onto the pitch was one, those who threw bottles onto the pitch also as is the bloke who ran over the steward.

That shouldn’t detract from the fantastic support though.

On the stadium, I agree the layout isn’t the best. I don’t know whether you noticed put further infrastructure plans are currently in construction. That said, the reason they close all car parks after full time is to allow the safe exit of pedestrians from the stadium. Next time do not park on-site, I have lost count how many times opposition supporters are warned. There are many alternatives which will see you on your way 10/15 minutes after the final whistle.

Indeed not! Home for 6.30pm, even going the long way round the M60!! I bet we were well on the road before any cars had left the stadium.

A note to those Cas fans who said they would never visit the Salford stadium again.

Was 1 of the 140 and it was spot on - cheers! Got away from the area fairly quickly only to get stuck in an almighty traffic jam on the M60 but hey - I know that's not your fault.

Will come again and won't hesitate to use the Eccles rugby club facilities.

I was sat on the supporters bus waiting to get out and saw the driver who deliberately drove at one of the stewards because he thought he had a god given right to get away quickly. I hope they take his driving licence off him at least.

so when you are topping the league and getting marwans predicted full houses at home games, just how many cars does eccles rlfc hold ?
