diff being they brought all those thru their juniors i think whereas you brought dixon thru yours and signed the rest so i think their point is justified, how many hull trained (and i include the sunny side of hull too in this) players are plying their trade in s.l ? And how many cas lads ? |

I think Briscoe is a good player that has lost his way at Hull and would certainly welcome him to the club.
However, money wise I think it would be a little silly to spend money on a position that doesn't need strengthening unless we are preparing ahead of next season or someone else is leaving that we are not aware of.
The intention by the club was to have two players for each position and so far we have:

Dixon/Owen
Shenton/Gibson
Webster/Channing
Carney/Clare
Sneyd/Dorn
Seymour/Ellis/Johnston
Huby/Lynch
Clark/Milner

Not a bad team on paper. Not sure Owen has a place anyway to be honest. he hasn't shown much in the appearances he's made. Bottled it in defence a few times against Wakey |
