Was Halibut the ref? we all know he can't count

To be fair to Alibert when was he supposed to have the time to count the players? It is up to the other officials to keep check of who is going on & coming off, for once Alibert can't really be blamed.

I'm not condoning The 14 man gag, but how long time wise was this for, and how many tackles were committed by Cas in that time?

Nobby cheating Cas again! Salford should be penalised two points at least, otherwise we"ll see this again when a team are defending a slim lead and are under pressure with the clock running down.

Why is anyone surprised. Last year Halibut lost us a game because he couldn't count to six and gave the Wire an extra tackle which led to a win. So counting to 14 must be well beyond him and his buddies.

He could! he went past six to get to seven or "sept" as i think it is in his native lingo

I think the worry for all concerned is if the RFL just give a slap on the wrist to Salford or a small fine.

If any side were holding on to a lead which could affect an important cup tie or play off place would they gamble on trying the same thing deliberately if the financial rewards outweigh a potential fine?

But you really can't see a points deduction or every team would be searching the archives for some such misdemeanour.

I didnt watch the game so i don't understand wether or not it was likely to have affected the final outcome.
But this is another catastrophe during a Halibut refereed game.
Some action must be taken by the RFL against the referee and salford, what that should be i am undecided.
My main consern is that clubs are not allowed to make this a bad habit like the water carrier or physio that spends half the game on the pitch coaching.
Give some clubs an inch...

I'm a reds fan and if true we should lose the points especially as it was when you were camped on our line. Personnel change but professionalism remains the same.

Salford had 14 men on the field for 3 of Castleford's plays at the Salford line according to our complaint to the RFL.
