Likely to be a case of the Visa issue being concluding but the deal with Cas / the player not signed or sealed.

Strange thing this talk of "setting a deadline". Who are they setting the dead-line for? Can't be for Cas Tigers - we have agreed for him to move and a fee has been agreed. Can't be a dead-line for Rangi - he can't wait to get away from the place. What's it all about?

If the visa application fails could he be loaned out for the rest of his contract with say Hull paying us the value of his wages but avoiding a transfer fee?

No - his current visa is for employment with Castleford only. no way round it other than applying for a new visa which he has done.
