The rumour I heard was that Wakey, not Cas, went in for him.

Hadn't heard about Wakey but it's plausible, I know Cas have though.

Gilmour will be good for our club, winning mentality and a professional attitude. Works hard on and off the field and remember Brad Davis coming back? He was brilliant for us every time he played regardless of his age. Gilmour will help Ollie Holmes no end.

age hasnt done menzies any harm,yes i know he'sa freak tho,the experience and help he will bring to the team and the benefit and help it will do to hoggy and jordy will be excellent

Spoke to him on Saturday at the clubs charity shirt launch, hes sorted for next season.

In the way, that he is way past his best, if he is what you consider to be a good signing, you must be in a really bad way, and that still does not excuse it as anything other than a very poor signing.

gilmore would walk into the wildcats side as he would the cas team , based on the fact that he is better than players at both clubs currently playing in his position.
Might be past his best still good enough for a place in any club outside the 6/7 top clubs in sl.

I would agree that a few years ago he would have been a shoo in, but not now, the fact that he is as good as what we may already have is no reason to sign him, IMO he is robbing a wage from a younger player, who minus the experience would add just as much and has his career ahead of him.
Good luck if its what you guys want, he wouldn't be for me.
