| Oddly, now having seen the squads, I think we will be in the game at half time, just on sheer adrenalin and enthusiasm.
I think the size and power will show out in the end, Flannery, puletua, roby, soliola, Laffranchi, perry, Mc-scarsbrook, clough, wheeler, Wellens, hohia, shenton..... Gardner meli and go on then, Dixon- that's quite a lot of size, power, experience for a saints team..... Not a pessimist, but not feeling Monday...... But the team going out has no expectation, everyone will expect them to get tonked, stranger things have happened.

| I expect Roby to rip us to shreds sadly.
Our weakness in the first half was down the middle where Wakey had a field-day. Roby is world-class and will take full advantage of that. Therefore, we have to be extremely tight around the ruck and move out quick and knock him on his backside before he can make any significant ground.

There are 1 or two of those your put in the scarey list that If I was a Cas Fan I honestly would not worry about.I won't say who they are but I would say that at least 2 of them would only be squad players in any SL side.

Sorry I am still suffering from massive disapointment from yesterday.I should of said they would be squad players in all the sides in the top half of the table.

| The Monday game is always a bit of an unknown. How much has been taken out of both sides etc.
In our favour we will have two class players fresh to the team in Wellens and La Frank.
Against us is our form. We can't read too much into the derby loss, but by the same principle we can't read too much into the previous 2 wins. The Cas game is in the middle of our 7 game run under the new management, a win for Saints may indicate that we are back in the fight a loss may indicate that the Leeds and Wire wins where just the turn around sides get with a new coach.
It will be a bit of a unknown side that lines up against Cas and we have no idea who the other halfback or kicker will be?

| Surely it'll be:
Wellens, Gardner, Shenton, Jones, Meli, Wheeler, Hohaia, Perry, Roby, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Soliola, Dixon, Puletua.
Bench: Flanagan, Laffranchi, Clough, Flannery.

I would expect laffranchi to start at prop, along with perry, he certainly did before his ban, and they laid the platform for our wins over Leeds and Warrington. Wheeler is an injury doubt as usual, and we are down to our fourth choice goal kicker, who could be any one of the 17! Hopefully we won't be needing a kick to win the game in the last minute.

| Really hope our fringe players step up and put a good shift today, I know Saints had a tough game Friday but they still should have too much for us...two players in particular could have a field day (Puletua & Roby).
Not sure who will play fullback for us today?. Hope Ben Johnson gets a run at scrum half but i'm guessing they will go with Mcgoldrick or Milner.

| Without Chase, Orr & Clark it's hard to see where any attacking guile will come from.
Take out Millington from the forwards and in the continued absence of Huby (hopefully back in the next couple of weeks) our pack looks way too light against a side that always seems too big and strong against us.
Looking at Saints squad the majority of their big stars seem set to back up with the only absentees being players that picked up obvious injuries in their game on Friday. They're in a much better position to be able to rotate their squad due to it having more strength in depth so its interesting to see that they've chosen not to.
A certain Sky pundit pointed out a few seasons ago that the best way to judge where a team will finish is to look at their points for/against. Only Widnes have a worse one than Cas, anyone think we'll finish higher than 13th this season?!

I do, we'll be lucky to finish above Widnes!

Dont choke on those words , our team were magnifcent in defeat, just wonder what we could have done with the starting 17 from the bottle chuckers game
