Looks like rumour-mongering to me - a lot of hot air and no real substance from any reliable source. Perhaps people are working on that premise that if you say something enough, others will start to believe it. Until I hear anything from the club, hot air is what this will remain.

Chase is a player that could walk into any team in SL and in a situation like that, much as the one we faced with Broughy, the relative 'minnows' in the competition are hard pressed to hold on to players like that, particularly if there's brass on offer and the host club are under pressure in that respect.

Cas fans will probably be able to tell me if im wrong, but as i understand it Chase is OOC this season. If the rumours of him signing a new deal are false then no transfer fee would be involved, and Wigan have plenty to play with salary cap wise for big wages. If he has signed a two year extension its irrelevant anyway !!!
