Catalans were after Finch until the end of the season, but they obviously haven't got him. We let our only halfback go. Read between the lines, and you wouldn't be classed as stupid for assuming we have got Finch!

It's not Finch. I think Catalans would have got him if he wanted to move.

He wants to move to England. Just not until next season. Catalans wanted him for the rest of this season and beyond.

He doesn't want to leave Melbourne until next season. He stated as much himself

strong rumours suggesting finch will be at wigan next year. nothing confirmed but rumour is that riddell wants to leave, tommy will push up to hooker with Mcilorum and finch to partner tomkins. all pie in the sky at the min but ian lenaghan has gone to oz this week on a recruitment drive so time will tell

Finch has been linked with every SL club. Remember quota goes down next season too to 4 quota players 1 non-fed.

bailey is likely to go and rumours say phelps is too.also talks of riddell wanting to go home.thats three overseas spots, + feka also rumoured to be on his way out. the quota spots would not affect us as space is likely to be freed up

No more than 5 quota players.

No more than 5 overseas trained players inc quota players.

Rest of squad to be from players trained within same federation.

KEY
Home grown players - any player still under 21 and/or has completed 3 years service with the same clubs academy set up.

Same federation - any player still under 21 and/or has completed 3 years service with other clubs academy set ups within UK (for UK SL clubs) or France (for Catalans etc)

Overseas quota players - as per current rules i.e. Anyone unable to prove origins within EU or Kolpak countries.

Overseas trained - any other overseas player (EU passport or Kolpak etc.)

- Ryan McGoldrick (does goldie count next season because he as being in england for more then 5 year)

Next season, AFAIK, McGoldrick can apply to come off quota like you said. Sherwin has gone so that removes one more and means we have one spot for this year too.
