Exactly. You have some decent squad players already and so you need to build around them. Not just that, it creates a better environment for the youngsters to come into when you have a stronger, more stable squad.

Yeah, I can see Rangi going to Leeds. They're crying out for a half back with skill, pace and a great game brain - a sort of Rob Burrows figure. They'd have gone a long way this year if they'd had someone like that in the ranks.

Lauaki could be a great player, he just needs to control his agression and stop giving away silly penalties.

A frustratingly stupid player - he can be like a wrecking ball and has a decent offload, but far too easy to wind up and as you say, a total liability. I can't see him adding much value at Wigan, other than making Gareth Hock feel clever.
