Yes without doubt, Liam Finn is a good half back, great kicking game, much better than the kicking game we can offer, but I think with him, it's a case of being a good Championship player, bit like Kain and Briggs, whom both couldn't cut it in SL, but are very good players for Fev.

She carries on through it all......
She's a Waterfall: |

| If Liam had a yard of pace more, he would have spent his entire career in SL!
I'd take Youngquest of you!!

| The question should be how many players could get in the Cas team if they had 6 month full time training We have seen players move up a league an come back down because they either were not given the chance or they weren't good enough Cas have some very good quality young players and some very over rated ones on big money given time Millward will get them out sign a few good pros that want to play for you with the younger lads and you will have a good team Top and bottom of Saturday is all our players were up for that match from 1 to 17 yours were not get rid of the few that are the problem down there and you will be ok

| Smeaton would walk into the Cas team.
I'd take Ropati over Griffin too.

| I broke my arm playing amateur rugby and had 7 weeks off work, but luckily I was insured so still got payed, so surely professional players must have insurance.

In some cases there just seems to be a lack of desire, a lack of pride in the shirt and no real urgency to improve. I think we have to remember that this isn't Millward's team and there's only so much he can do with it before he's able to conduct his own recruitment. If that performance on Saturday wasn't an eyeopener, then I dread to think what it'll take to give them a kick up the backside.

We needed to run the game down the middle where our Pack would've been able to build a platform and dominate, but we tried to throw the ball about and started making mistakes which came back to bite us.
The discipline was poor partially through frustration I think but Featherstone slowed the game to a crawl at times, to their advantage, and were allowed to do it. It's a bug bear of mine that Cas are easily sucked into a scrappy game and generally can't rise above it - it doesn't match our style of play. It's unfortunate that the slow ruck is rife in the game at the moment and little seems to be being done to prevent it.
I thought the tens were very short too and when things like grapple tackles on our players result in penalties against us because frustrated players react to the initial incident being overlooked, well I think in that circumstance any team's discipline would be bad. I'm not taking anything away from Featherstone, or denying that we were embarassingly bad, but Thaler had a complete shocker. They suspended Alibert for allowing a try on tackle 7 the other week - there are some referees who are guilty of far worse mistakes yet are still being given top games in subsequent weeks.
