| Quote Gaslight="Gaslight"=#8040FFWatching the game again now, here's another 2 bad decisions in the space of about a minute!:
Dobson knocks on in the build up to Cockayne's try, the resulting kick off the ball is recovered by a KR player who is 20 metres offside, you see Bentham bringing the whistle to his mouth then stopping upon what can only be on the "advice" of Ganson or the RFL man in the stand telling him that they have picked KR to win this game. Webster gets tackled with his elbow on the try line, which should be a drop out, Bentham waves play on the same set on the 3rd tackle KR inside the 10 he calls Cas offside when every player is clearly onside.
Thanks to the RFL and mainly Cummings I am no longer watching this sport.'"
Its got nothing to do with his elbow, if the ball is over the line then its play on. Thats like saying you can score a try if your elbow touches the try line! bizarre!

| Having studied the rule book today, Ive come to the conclusion that Liam Watts final try was CORRECTLY awarded. There is nothing in the rules that prevents it being given.
However, Scott Murrells was INCORRECTLY awarded, as Liam Watts made no attempt to play the ball correctly.
That said I personally feel that the word "control" should be in the laws regarding the scoring of a try. Try as I might, I cannot find it. Im open to being wrong, but thats my interpretation.
So in my view Cas were wrongly done by the match officials, who week after week stun me with their incompetance from Super League down to amatuers on a weekend. Whats is worse is the pandemic of arrogance that is rife amongst them. Zero humility at all.
BUT, before I get shot down, its not the main reason Cas lost - our errors were to blame!

| There was another questionable referee decision for the first HKR try. The HKR forward (Watts?) was held up over the line but the referee allowed him to play the ball on the tryline (he never actually played the ball) and HKR dummy half dove over to score.
1) The play the ball should have been 10 metres from the line
2) We need to enforce the play the ball with the foot rule, not attempt to play it with the foot.
I also thought that Ainscoughs try shouldn't have been ruled out, there was more than good reason for giving that try on benefit of the doubt.

| Quote Gazemous="Gazemous"Indeed, and that's what he got completely and utterly wrong. There's absolutely zero doubt that that try shouldn't have stood.'"
In your head maybe but not in the head of Mr Gansons, that's the only opinion that counts on this occasion. Over the course of a season these things even themselves out. You all seem to conveniently forget the dodgy forward pass that lead to one of Ainscoughs tries. You lot should really take your black and amber glasses off and get in the real world!

That coming from a Hull FC fan [url=http://www.smileyhut.com [/url
At no point did any rovers players claim that was a try, so rovers did'nt cheat, it was a ref decision so rovers cannot be apportioned the blame.

| Next time i play rugby in a tight game, when near the line, im gunna hit a gap, throw the ball through the gap (not letting it touch the floor of course) and just as its about to hit the floor ill stick a finger at the side of the ball (without any control whatsoever) and score the winner!
Without a doubt the WORST desicion i have ever seen watching rugby league, end of.......
Dont even get me started on Ainscough's dissallowed try!!
But............. Big But................
I dont think we deserved to win, any team who lets go of a 10 point lead, then an 8 point lead, with 10 mins left, with as many chances as we bombed, doesnt deserve to win!!
Still we were Robbed!!

'Kin hell are they still going on about it!!!

"In a thrilling finish, Watts struck for the winning try seven minutes from the end when he fly-kicked the ball following Dobson’s grubber and gathered to touch down".
