| Quote: Fully "That's funny because all the journalists seem to agree that he had a good game.
In the first half he was excellent and most of his passes either set up the tries on the left hand side or set the likes of Briscoe and Yeaman away.
In the second half he got his hands dirty in the middle but got frustrated with the lack of space he had.
Was it a MoM performance? I don't know but I certainly can't remember too many players who had a good game and didn't make mistakes.'"
Most journalists might agree BUT most fans & supporters / TV viewers thought it was a very strange choice
Still if it makes Cas fans have some happy moments; then thats good

| Rangi did not gel with Sinfield we all know Burrows would have played had he not been injured.

| Chase did nothing that any Englishman couldn't do in that game. Can't see any reason for selecting an antipodean thug who's nice to children in Castleford in place of more deserving candidates.

Go on then....
Name an English halfback who has won more awards than Rangi this season.
Thought not. More deserving? Take a good long look at your pathetic excuse for a troll and blush for shame.

"I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg |

Yes, I'll have to concede that point to you, although in the unlikely event of Cockayne being called up for England, he could at least justify his selection on account of being English.
The point still stands, though, that in his first 2 games he's done little to show that he's streets ahead of every other English half back. If he turns in match winning performances against Australia or New Zealand, I'll eat my words. In the meantime, applaud your player, but I can see very little to justify the hype, or the controversy that his selection has generated.

Yeah, man of the match on debut and 3 assists in his first 4 Nations game is terrible and a mod going off topic? Who'd have thought it...just another Wakey troll
Here's something else for Rangi this season too, to get back on topic:

| Great achievement for Rangi to be on that list, but I'm afraid he's made from the bits that were left over when God created Benji.
That said - well done Rangi.

And if my granny had wheels she'd be a car. Who's to say that anyone else would have put in a performance that won man-of-the-match against France and produced moves and passes that led to 3 tries being scored last Saturday.
Let's face it, you don't like the fact he's from NZ. However, he's qualified to play and he's played. There's absolutely nothing you can do about that, so why go bleating on about it, especially on a thread marked "Well done Rangi" on this forum?
Why don't you just change your nick to "The Trolling Mod"?
