| Quote: Fully "This is getting boring. Can't we just settle it this way?
Warrington fans think they have a team of superstars and are biased towards their own players.
Cas think they have a good mix of youth and some quality players that are better than players from other teams and are rightly biased towards their own.
Much easier and that way everyone gets on.'"
Just ask the how many home grown 1st teamers do they have in their team

And that point contributes in whatsoever to this thread? No one disputed the fact that Warrington had a more consistent and overall better 13 than Cas but we're disputing that some individuals from Cas would make it into the Warrington team.

Warrington think they're a big team all of a sudden and like to brag about this fact, see Huddersfield 10 week ago for an example.

Warrington have always been the perennial underachievers. But I can understand them getting excited. They are going through probably their brightest period in the Super League era and they do have a mouth-watering team from 1-17 and beyond.
But they need to stop viewing some of those players as world-class and start seeing that key individuals bring out the best in the other players. I'm pretty sure the likes of Shenton, Owen, Chase, Westerman, possibly even Huby too would flourish under the guidance of a world-class coach like Tony Smith and no doubt benefit from playing with quality players too.

Ah silly me.
So if Warrington signed me then I'd be better than Rangi Chase ?

And no one is saying you shouldnt be. In fact i for one would prefer you to win the league more than leeds, or wigan.
Some of your fans coming on here (and one very poor troll who may or may not be a wire fan) and saying all your players are better when everyone knows thats not the case is what has caused this though. If i had the chance would i have some of the wire players at cas? of course i would, riley, carvell, monaghan, harrison and cooper are all players i would have like a shot ( in fact add those players too our squad and we look like a top 5 side imho) but i'm sure most warrington fans would have chase, shenton, westerman, owen and sargent given the chance.
Some cas fans would have mathers in the team but i for one wouldnt, he's the weak link in the warrington team imo and replacing him with hodgson will make you a much better team. Putting him in our team will make us worse imo.

I wouldn't have Shenton. I think Bridge, Atkins & King are all betters centres. I'd probably have Westerman out of that lot.

Then you've got very tinted specs on, westerman isnt even the best out of that bunch, chase is for instance alot better than myler. As for atkins this is probably his best season, and its shentons worst, yet atkins still hasnt looked better than him.
