Bit of a chicken & egg scenario really.

The series of events described by sixtogo seems feasible and even if it turns out to be someone other than Millward, assuming its not one of the fans' preferred choices (not entirely clear who that is btw) then that'll be most likely down to the fact Cas are unable to promise the sort of money for players that other SL clubs can.

I don't profess to have any inside knowledge of Cas' finances but would guess we are running at spending a 3 or 4 hundred Grand short of the salary cap which must be an inhibiting factor to any potential new coach when you know that most of your competition are spending up to the cap.

By refusing to by a season ticket for next season you're only making the financial cycle worse.

In the long term if we do get into the new stadium then there's no reason why we can't bring in the money required to spend up to the cap and compete on a level footing but until that point unless we miraculously get a multi-millionaire backer we're always gonna be stuck in this position.

So Wayne, if it isn't Millward, is it someone the Cas fans will be happier with?

They were only expecting him because Gronk had them all convinced that he was 'in the know' - turns out he's either a giant wind-up merchant, or has a source at the club who's been taking the p1ss by feeding him a load of bull.

The icing on this particularly amusing cake would be if we announced Gentle as HC for WTW in the coming days. I'd choke on the cake though if we end up with Agar, which could still happen, leaving us with only mediocrity to look forward next season, like Cas.

Having worked closely alongside Millward for the last two years I have been impressed with his enthusiasm, knowledge and friendliness and I now see him as a close friend, I for one hope he stays with us but also think the club who gets him will be very lucky he will rejuvenate your club from top to bottom, and people who know me will tell you I hated the sight of the guy until I have had the privilege of working alongside of him.

Actually mr troll, neither of my sources were attatched to the club but to Gentle and everything I said was true, its just unfortunate tricky dicky worked his magic and cost the club a quality coach. Gentle will now likely end up at FC.

As for Cas and Wakey being mediocre next season, Cas will still finish above the small team you support - crap signings and Agar, it's like the team wants to he near the bottom.

As for mediocrity - we'll see what happens next season. In your position, I wouldn't be making any more confident predictions if I were you.
