Yep, the current word at Waystone is still November to Jan start - there's a bit more clearing to be done then it's time for the foundations.

You're right there is a lot more clearing of the site to be done , I suppose that's why the excavator has disappeared from the pit stack .

I think you're being optamistic for even a Jan start on the foundations.

At the minute there's 2 options in terms of architect - there's appoint one and get a new design specific to CTRLFC or buy an existing design such as the Keepmoat which does away with the need of an architect - just the structural engineer (as far as I'm aware).

The Nov-Jan start is the ground stabilization and foundation works, then from then on depending on weather conditions a stadium would take between 9-14 months.

This may be some insight to a few people on here but the cost of a stadium (a basic one) is roughly £1m per 1000 seats, so at the minute there will need to be ~£13m for the stadium at J32 to be built.

It's all well and good saying this, but you have to ask why this hasn't been done. The design is going to have to be specific to Cas due to the swimming pool that the council have now inputted at J32.

As for the cost, it's not going to be all-seater and you've forgot to take into consideration inside costs, the actual structure etc.

It'll be nearer £15-£20m for me.

.. Assuming the pool is integral to the structure of one of the stands. If it's housed in an adjacent building however...
