FWIW, though. I'll be standing with all my Wakefield friends right behind the posts. Wakefield haven't backed down we just needed to explain it in more detail to some cas fans and richard wright who didn't seem to understand it. There's designated standing area for both home and away fans to stand like most SL grounds. This is to create a better atmosphere and after consultation with RFL & police this is advised as the best solution for the safety of supporters. The combination of traditional all day good Friday drinking in Wakefield + local derby +first match since the north stand roof has been completed was too much of a recipe for disaster so designated areas is the way it has to be. Unfortunatly we both have idiot fans and not wanting a fine for failing to control a crowd we have had to follow police advice . Wakefield as a club are wanting to do this from now on to be inline with other SL clubs and create a better atmosphere. Talking to someone who works for key security tonight at training said this will be enforced he said family partys and work groups can all stand together but groups and barmys has he put it will all be in their designated areas of not they will be moved there,loads of extra stewards have been brought in to make sure it works the night passes off without incident and we all enjoy the night for the Rugby
