We were by far the better team and I agree our support for a Thursday night on Sky game was superb. We didn't stop singing all night. I have to admit at the time I thought the offside call was very harsh but apparently was the right decision.

Clarke was superb again, Millington was dangerous as always and I thought Jewitt epitomised what we are all about.

You were the best team last night by a country mile. No complaints about the result. I was embarrassed how we played last night. We were absolutely terrible in the first 10, which set the tone for the game.

Bentham was poor, but don't think we can blame him for the result. Ah Van was correctly pulled offside by Hicks but what wound the fans up was every tackle off every set was offside by both teams. Why did Hicks chose to pull this one up? Also, one of your lot close lined Galea in the first half. How we didn't get a penalty I will never know.! Also, there was knees to Browns body in the first half when he couldn't do anything, a cowardly act that deserved a penalty. But, Bentham let both teams get away with a lot of things.

Your Clark was class last night. Thought we handled Carney pretty well. Thought we kept Sneyd and Ellis quiets too. But that was it the rest of you totally dominated us.

Again, well played last night. The best team by a mile but do feel a bit aggrieved with some decisions, although they never cost us the game.

Thought Widnes were okay, it was just Cas were so much better. Clark was amazing, and will be a big miss next year.

Saw the knee to the head around the ruck on the replay, genuinely think it was an accident. As for the carvell high shot, probably was deserving of a penalty. We've lacked fluency in attack the last few weeks so it was nice to find some of that, however we were very sloppy between 15-35.

You not trying to make out Cas are a bigger club than Widnes are you?

Castleford, a club that hasn't been Champions in it's entire history (we have) won less Challenge Cups than us ('only' 3 behind), and of course, hasn't won the World Club Challenge (unlike us).

Having history is good but it means nothing if you're crap for the next 30 years (this is just an example, not fact) and you lose your fanbase.

It's all about brand nowadays and Widnes do not compare to your Leeds or Wigan's.

Cas and Widnes are in the same boat - it's pointless arguing over a point like that. Cas have bigger crowds and better performing in Super League. It could be argued that makes us better?
