I feel sorry for this guy. Having watched games from the stands it is easy to critisise his play and the mistakes he makes.

But having watched from my sofa yesterday. It looks like Rangi is playing with a team of ameteurs. Apart from Clarke. Rangi was doing all he could to make breaks, find gaps etc... but he lacks the support from players. Jamie Ellis is a shocking ball handler. Cant do anything with ball in hand which means its left to Rangi. I see why he starts getting aggresive now and whay he gets bans. I bet its frustrating for him.

What must be upsetting is it was the same linesman that ruled out the 40/20 at KR that couldn't see Ferres's Madden impression for Murphys try.
The skill he has was shown for the penultimate try, it also shows what happens if you commit to backing him up ala Walker.
Ditto Ellis, he is shocking, is it lack of skill or confidence?
Keep hearing Finn as a possible....

Rangi was lucky not to be sent off twice yesterday. Whilst he sat in the stand we won the game- chase is a very skilful player but that's stupidity not skill.
U7 are taught you never question a refs decision - and I think it's more likely the manner in which he questioned it that resulted in the sending off.

So Brough & Ferris did the right thing by questioning the ref, Brough waving his arms & snarling, could have been mistaken for a cave man, & Ferris was still going on when he went to the scrum one rule for one .

Clearly the ref took offence to the way he was spoken to. Nothing to do with different rules. Brough and ferres must have better manners, perhaps the can question without accusing or swearing. Chase is his own worst enemy- he uses his frustration and aggression in a negative way not a positive one.

Chase must be doing his nut at this time. Cas are playing poor and he's trying his best but getting frustrated with it. He's some player though.

Rangi Chase = Adel Tarrabt. Two fabulous players on their day but you don't know which one we're going to get every time he's on the pitch. BTW I am a QPR fan so I know about Adel Tarrabt.

Pretty simple really, Rangi is 1 of the best players in the league, his half back partner is 1 of the worst players in the league. If Danny Orr came out of retirement, them two would link up better.

A very good player on his day but does he want to be at Castleford and if not what effect could that be having on the rest of the squad?

He probably doesnt but at the moment he hasnt a choice.

whos adel tarrabt?

he plays for QPR in the round ball game. Gets himself into a lot of trouble on and off the field. Thinks he is better than what he is but quite a lot of the time he can be great and show some of the best skill in the premiership.
